Opens in a new window Credit: Apple Apple MacBook Air M3 $1,099.00 at AmazonIf you're looking for a new laptop, look no further than the 2024 MacBook Air M3. As the name suggests, it's built with Apple’s impressive M3 chip so it's no surprise it was named one of Mashable's best laptops of the year.
And as of Oct. 23, this MacBook is reduced by $200 to $1,099 at Amazon. This price is for the 8GB RAM model with a 256GB capacity without AppleCare+. You can choose from the colors Midnight, Space Grey, Silver, and Starlight. The 516GB model is also reduced by $200, from $1,499 to $1,299.
SEE ALSO: The best VPN for iPadsBut why the M3 instead of the cheaper M2? Well, according to thorough Mashable testing, the M3 chip proved to be about 20% faster than the previous generation M2 chip. It also boasts an 18-hour battery life, perfect for working or studying away from home when you don't have access to a charging outlet.
This model has all the usual stats you'd expect from a MacBook Air, including a backlit keyboard, Touch ID, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3 for faster wireless connectivity. Not to mention, the 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display supports a whopping 1 billion colors.
Weighing just three pounds and at under 0.5-inch thin, this MacBook truly is perfect for slipping in your tote bag and working on the go. Head over to Amazon before this deal runs out.
SAVE $100: As of Oct. 23, the Apple AirPods Max are on sale for $449 at Amazon, down from $549. That's a solid 18% discount on these premium over-ear headphones.
Opens in a new window Credit: Apple Apple AirPods Max $449.00 at AmazonIf you've been eyeing the Apple AirPods Max, now might be the perfect time to make your move. Known for their exceptional audio quality, the AirPods Max feature a custom-built dynamic driver that delivers crisp highs and deep bass. Apple's H1 chip and computational audio offer a listening experience that makes your favorite playlists and podcasts sound better. Oh, and it now has a USB-C port.
One of the standout features of the AirPods Max is Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which blocks out ambient noise so you can stay focused on what's playing. When you need to be aware of your surroundings, switch to Transparency mode to blend your music with the world around you. It's a great feature for experiencing immersive sound without losing touch with reality (and avoiding traffic).
Apple has also designed these headphones with comfort in mind. The knit-mesh canopy and memory foam ear cushions create a soft, over-ear fit that you can wear for hours on end. With Personalized Spatial Audio, the AirPods Max adapts to the unique shape of your ears, creating a surround sound-like experience for music, movies, and shows. It even supports Dolby Atmos for that full cinematic effect.
They're convenient, too. With a simple tap, you can connect to your Apple devices and they'll automatically switch between your iPhone, iPad, and Mac without any hassle. Plus, with up to 20 hours of battery life, even with ANC and Spatial Audio enabled, you can enjoy all-day listening without hunting for a charger.
At $449, this deal knocks a full $100 off the regular price, making it one of the better discounts we've seen on these luxury headphones. If you're serious about sound quality and love that seamless Apple ecosystem experience, this might be the time to add the AirPods Max to your collection. But act quickly — deals like this tend to sell out fast.
If you like playing daily word games like Wordle, then Hurdle is a great game to add to your routine.
There are five rounds to the game. The first round sees you trying to guess the word, with correct, misplaced, and incorrect letters shown in each guess. If you guess the correct answer, it'll take you to the next hurdle, providing the answer to the last hurdle as your first guess. This can give you several clues or none, depending on the words. For the final hurdle, every correct answer from previous hurdles is shown, with correct and misplaced letters clearly shown.
An important note is that the number of times a letter is highlighted from previous guesses does necessarily indicate the number of times that letter appears in the final hurdle.
If you find yourself stuck at any step of today's Hurdle, don't worry! We have you covered.

Plus, it charges via USB-C (although it's in a weird position), making it compatible with the latest iPad models.

Apple clung to its proprietary port for years, even as most of the tech world embraced USB-C. However, Apple had to join the party with the European Union mandating a universal charging port by 2024. Beyond compliance, Apple's switch to USB-C is one of the best moves they've made recently. It's go-to for everything from Android phones to MacBooks, offering faster charging and quicker data transfers. Plus, it cuts down on cable clutter, which is great for the environment.

And with a flat edge, it feels comfortable to hold for long sketching sessions or those marathon note-taking meetings. Whether you're a digital artist who wants precise control or a student trying to take notes without smudging your screen, the Apple Pencil makes your iPad more than just a tablet — it turns it into a portable canvas or a digital notebook.
Right now, you can snag the USB-C Apple Pencil for just $69.99, down from its usual $79.99. That's a 13% discount and one of the lowest prices we've seen. Leveling up your iPad game without breaking the bank is a solid deal. Just be sure to grab it while the price lasts — knowing Apple, the deal won't stick around for long.
