This massive 20TB Seagate external hard drive is $50 off at Best Buy

Mashable - 9 hours 51 min ago

SAVE $50: As of Feb. 10, the Seagate Expansion 20TB external hard drive is on sale for $229.99 at Best Buy, down from its regular price of $279.99. That’s $50 in savings on one of the best high-capacity storage solutions for photos, movies, music, and backups.

If your digital life is starting to take up way too much space, the Seagate Expansion 20TB external hard drive is here to save the day. It is the ultimate plug-and-play solution for anyone who needs massive amounts of storage without the hassle of complicated setups. Right now, it is available at Best Buy for $229.99, which means you can save $50 while upgrading your storage game.

We are talking about 20 terabytes of space. That is enough to store millions of photos, thousands of hours of video or your entire gaming library in one place. Whether you are a content creator, a PC gamer hoarding Steam sales, or someone who refuses to delete old files (because what if you need them later?), this external drive is an absolute beast.

SEE ALSO: Beats Studio Buds+ are $50 off at Amazon — upgrade your earbuds for less

The best part is that it is as simple as it gets. There is no software to install. Just plug it into a USB 3.0 port, and you are good to go. Thanks to USB 3.0 connectivity, you can drag and drop your files, back up your important data, and enjoy fast transfer speeds. It is compatible with Windows and Mac, although you must reformat it for Time Machine backups on macOS.

Another major perk is that this Seagate drive comes with Rescue Data Recovery Services. If something goes wrong, you have built-in protection to help recover lost files. That is a level of peace of mind you will not get with just any external hard drive.

While SSDs are faster, they do not come anywhere close to this kind of capacity for the price. Suppose you need bulk storage for backups, media libraries, or archiving. Seagate Expansion 20TB drive is a solid investment, especially at this discounted price. Do not wait too long, though. Best Buy’s deals do not last forever.

Apple’s M3 MacBook Air is $200 off. And yes, it’s totally worth it.

Mashable - 9 hours 54 min ago

SAVE $200: As of Feb. 10, the 2024 Apple MacBook Air (M3, 13-inch, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD) is on sale for $899 at Amazon. This deal saves you $200 off its usual $1,099 price.

If you've been waiting for the best MacBook Air deal before upgrading, this is your moment. The 2024 MacBook Air with M3 chip just dropped to $899 at Amazon, making it a no-brainer upgrade for students, professionals, or anyone who wants a ridiculously fast, ultra-portable laptop.

Powered by Apple's M3 chip, this MacBook Air has an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU, which means buttery-smooth performance for everyday tasks, creative apps, and even light gaming. It has 16GB of unified memory, so you can open a million Chrome tabs (we won't judge), and it has a 256GB SSD for speedy storage.

SEE ALSO: Beats Studio Buds+ are $50 off at Amazon — upgrade your earbuds for less

The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display is gorgeous. Crisp, vibrant, and a joy to look at. It's perfect for editing photos or binge-watching in bed. And because it's a MacBook Air, it's stupidly thin and light (under half an inch thick), so you can toss it in your bag without a second thought.

Battery life? Ridiculous. Apple claims up to 18 hours, so you can leave your charger at home for once. It also has MagSafe charging, two Thunderbolt four ports, and Touch ID because, for some reason, Face ID still isn't a thing on MacBooks.

If you've been eyeing an upgrade, $200 off on Amazon is a rare discount for Apple gear. With this deal, you get cutting-edge performance in a sleek, travel-friendly package for under $900. If that doesn't scream "buy me now," we don't know what does.

AI vs. your social media addiction — who will win?

Mashable - 9 hours 55 min ago

TL;DR: Zario helps you reduce social media usage, block distractions, and reclaim your time for life — for just $39.99 (reg. $299).

You grab your phone to check one thing, and suddenly, an hour has disappeared into the abyss of social media, endless news feeds, and random videos you don’t even remember clicking on.

Sound familiar? You’re not alone. According to Medium, the average person will spend 17 years of their life scrolling—yes, that’s nearly two decades of mindless screen time.

Zario Pro can help you break the cycle. This AI-powered focus app is designed to help you reduce distractions, regain control of your screen time, and actually use your phone with intention. And right now, you can get lifetime access for just $39.99 (reg. $299). No subscriptions, no recurring fees—just a one-time payment to reclaim your time.

Zario is an AI-powered coach that helps you build better digital habits without completely cutting you off from the apps you need. Instead of forcing you to quit cold turkey, Zario helps you set smarter screen time limits, block distractions, and even "negotiate" for extra time with AI-powered coaching.

One of the best features? Mindful Pause. Instead of automatically blocking apps, Zario prompts you with a motivational quote or lighthearted roast before you open Instagram for the hundredth time. It’s like having a friend gently remind you, "Do you really need to check TikTok again?"

Need stricter rules? Strict Mode makes it impossible to override your screen time limits once set. So, if you’re serious about cutting back, Zario will hold you accountable.

Think of all the things you could do with an extra one hour and 35 minutes daily — read more books, start a new hobby, spend time with loved ones, or just enjoy a little extra peace of mind. Zario helps you regain control of your time, so you can live your life instead of watching someone else’s highlight reel.

With lifetime access for just $39.99 (reg. $299), this is a great time to check out Zario Screen Time App to see how it can help you.

TL;DR: Save 71% on this refurbished MacBook Pro until they sell out — fewer than 40 are available at this price.

If you’re shopping around for a new laptop, you’ve probably noticed how expensive they’ve gotten — and that’s not likely to change anytime soon (or ever). A far more cost-effective and environmentally friendly option is a refurbished laptop, like this MacBook Pro.

5 reasons to buy this refurbished MacBook Pro
  1. This is an excellent laptop for everyday use with an Intel Core i5 and 8GB of RAM

  2. It features the now-discontinued Touch Bar, a touchpad on your keyboard that changes tools depending on which apps you have open

  3. Enjoy 256GB of storage for downloading apps and storing pictures and videos

  4. Your MacBook Pro arrives in near-mint condition with a minimum of 80% battery health and a 30-day parts and labor warranty

The SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection ensures fast transfer speeds up to 5Gbps, so you won't be waiting forever to move large files.

This portable hard drive is perfect for travel, at just 4.4 inches long and weighing under half a pound. Toss it in your bag, take it to work, or use it as a backup vault for your irreplaceable files. And with a two-year limited warranty, you've got some peace of mind if anything goes wrong.

Sick of chasing pet hair, battling dust, or pretending you’ll vacuum tomorrow? Let Roborock Qrevo Edge do the dirty work. This high-end robot vacuum and mop combo is packed with 18,500Pa of suction power. If you don’t speak vacuum, it is strong enough to pull dirt from carpets, deep cracks, and places you don’t even want to know about. At $300 off on Amazon, this might be the best time to snag one.

Unlike budget robovacs that push dirt around like a toddler “helping” with chores, the Qrevo Edge actually cleans. It has a tangle-free main brush and a FlexiArm side brush that reaches corners without getting jammed up with hair. It even lifts its mop pads to keep carpets dry while scrubbing hard floors with hot water mop washing (because who wants to mop their mop?).

SEE ALSO: Beats Studio Buds+ are $50 off at Amazon — upgrade your earbuds for less

This thing isn’t just strong, it’s brilliant. The built-in voice assistant (“Hello Rocky”) lets you tell it to clean, wash its mop, or dock itself without touching your phone. It also maps your home in minutes, avoids obstacles like cables and pet toys, and even pauses if it detects your pet nearby — no sudden vacuum-induced freakouts.

Qrevo Edge is fully automated, with self-emptying, auto-mop drying, and refillable water tanks. That means weeks of hands-free cleaning without dealing with gross dustbins or soggy mop pads. It’s basically a set-it-and-forget-it kind of deal.

Hate cleaning but love clean floors? $300 discount is worth considering. Amazon’s stock on robot vacuums tends to disappear fast, so if you want to grab this deal, now’s the time.

The biggest loser of the Super Bowl isn’t just the Chiefs — it’s also Drake. The Toronto-born rapper found himself on the receiving end of a jubilant and petty Kendrick Lamar, who made sure to get his licks in during his Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show performance with SZA.

The set was high-energy and fast-paced, but Kendrick is a master of the subtle (and not-so-subtle) jab. So, for those who might have missed a moment, we’ve rounded up every shot, diss, and subliminal Kendrick slipped into his Halftime Show in New Orleans.

A-minor chain

The most glaring subliminal shot at Drake came in the form of Kendrick’s "A minor" chain. The gleaming pendant was a centerpiece of his Halftime Show look, and it didn’t go unnoticed. A not-so-subtle nod to the now-infamous beat selection discourse that erupted during their feud, the jewelry choice was equal parts flex and troll—precisely the kind of calculated pettiness Kendrick excels at.

You knew it was coming, and of course, he delivered. Kendrick Lamar hit the Super Bowl LIX stage and performed "Not Like Us" to the absolute delight of the 73,000 fans packed into the Superdome. He teased it, stretched out the moment, and — naturally — skipped over the more explicit lines (national television and all), but when the beat dropped, the crowd took over. Thousands belted out "A minor," making sure the message was heard loud and clear. Good thing Drake is conveniently on tour in Australia right now.

In a moment no one saw coming, Serena Williams hit the stage to hit a smooth Crip Walk during the performance of "Not Like Us." The moment wasn’t just electric; it was layered. Serena and Drake famously dated years ago and seeing her do that dance felt like a final, brutal nail in the coffin.

To close out his set, Kendrick Lamar ended with "TV Off," a track widely interpreted as a direct message to his haters—literally telling them to turn the TV off if they can’t handle it. As the final notes rang out, Kendrick, smiling, gestured for the camera to move forward.

Then, in a perfectly orchestrated mic-drop moment, the stadium lights cut out, revealing "GAME OVER" spelled out in the stands. A fitting end to a performance that was equal parts spectacle, statement, and straight-up victory lap.

Serena Williams dances in Kendrick Lamars halftime show. Yes, theres an alleged Drake connection

Mashable - Sun, 02/09/2025 - 22:19

If you blinked, you might have missed her, but yes, that was Serena Williams crip-walking during Kendrick Lamar's performance of his Grammy-winning song 'Not Like Us' during the Super Bowl LIX halftime show.

The now-retired tennis superstar appeared in a monochromatic blue skirt and top, with a white undershirt. Her appearance was brief, less than five seconds, but it was her.

Williams confirmed the appearance with a video just after.

And there's a Drake connection. It added fuel to the fire that is Kendrick's diss-track in Not Like Us.

Drake and Serena are rumored to have dated in the early 2010s, though it's never been confirmed.

Regardless, Kendrick invited Serena to be in the show, and the internet took notice.

Some fans suggested that it was symbolic of Williams dancing on Drake's grave.

Others could only imagine how Drake felt seeing Williams included in the show.

Drake reportedly wrote his 2016 song 'Too Good' about his relationship with Serena Williams, before name-dropping her in his 2022 song, 'Middle of the Ocean.' In the 2022 song, Drake referred to Williams' husband as a 'groupie.' Williams was also named-dropped in his 2013 song, 'Worst Behavior.'

But, really, has anyone checked on Drake after that halftime show?
