After testing dozens of portable power stations, the Anker Solix C2000 Gen 2 is the model I take on every camping trip. I like to slightly overestimate my power needs while camping (what if I decide to stay an extra night?), so I prefer the 2,048Wh offered by the C2000 Gen 2.

Anker made this as lightweight as possible, and despite landing in the 2k Wh category, it only weighs about 42 pounds. That'll be a manageable weight for camping trips where the campsite is near the car. It's also perfect for powering up the outdoor projector in the backyard for movie nights this summer. The Prime Day sale price of $699.99 is the lowest price we've seen this year at Amazon. It has since jumped up to $799.99, but we'll be keeping an eye out to see if the lower price returns.

Some of the best summer nights are those spent outside, but if you'd like a bit of variety from staring at campfire flames, consider an outdoor projector. It can project on a screen up to 120 inches, and it's easy to bring outside. I tested the M5 MacBook Air for Mashable when it was released earlier this year, and the longer I use it, the more I like it. The bad news: Over Memorial Day Weekend, we saw prices drop to $899, but so far, Prime Day hasn't matched that offer.

I've covered Prime Day for over half a decade at this point, and there are some things that rinse and repeat year after year. And as sure as the sun rises in the sky, you can count on Amazon Prime Day to discount specific items. When you see Kindles drop to record-low prices, for instance, you know the annual sale is upon us.

Although Amazon surprised us with an earlier-than-usual Prime Day celebration in 2026, the deals are still equally impressive (I've bought an alarming number of things this year) as years past. And lord knows we needed some heavy discounts after a year of price hikes.

We're tracking all of the latest Prime Day deals live, of course. And trust and believe there are some gems. Below, I've rounded up some of the products we count on year after year to go on sale for Prime day. It's always nice to see some familiar faces.

If you're shopping for some new Apple gadgets this Prime Day, your timing couldn't be better: Today, Apple raised some of its prices because of the global RAM shortage. AirPods and Apple Watches are unaffected (for now), but all MacBooks and iPads are now at least $100 more expensive than they were yesterday — even the budget MacBook Neo.

Here's the good news: The price changes haven't gone into effect on Amazon yet, only in the Apple Store. So, procrastinate at your own risk. For now, you can still shop Prime Day deals on Apple Watches, AirPods, iPads, and MacBooks. That includes a record-low price on the M4 iPad Air. (It's only $519 on Amazon right now, down from $599, but the Apple Store is charging $749.)

This is a shockingly good deal, considering the original AirPods Max took several years to hit the same price. Only Walmart's managed to match it so far.
