Following the heartbreaking/heartwarming holiday special, Doctor Who is coming back with a fresh season of sci-fi thrills and time-wimey goodness. Disney+ and the BBC have officially announced Ncuti Gatwa's second season as the Doctor will premiere April 12. And joining in on this season's shenanigans will be The Traitors' host with the most, Alan Cumming.
SEE ALSO: 'Doctor Who' showrunners on how 'Ode to Joy' paves the way for next seasonAs revealed earlier, the Fifteenth Doctor will find a new companion called Belinda Chandra, played by Varada Sethu, who previously appeared in the explosive episode "Boom." For his part, Cumming has previously played King James I in the 2018 episode "The Witchfinders." This time around, he'll be lending his voice to Mr. Ring-a-Ding, described in Disney+'s press release as "a happy, funny, singalong cartoon, who lives in Sunny Town with his friend Sunshine Sally." However, in episode two of this new season. Mr. Ring-a-Ding — as teased in the official still below — escapes his show and makes it into the real world. And he's not a fan of what he sees.
Mr. Ring-a-Ding enters the Whoniverse. Credit: Disney+ / BBCIn a statement, Doctor Who showrunner, executive producer, and writer Russell T Davies said, "Only Alan Cumming could give a runaway cartoon so much wit, malice, danger and fun. He makes the whole universe of Doctor Who wilder and madder than ever, and it's an absolute honour to welcome him on board the TARDIS."
We can't wait. And yet we must.
Google has redesigned its Results About You feature, a tool that lets users have more control over the personal information that shows up in Search.
The new proactive monitoring hub streamlines the company's existing feature, which notifies users of flagged search results containing their personal information, such as phone numbers and addresses, and lets them request removal — all in one place. Directly in Search itself, users can now immediately choose from expanded removal options by simply clicking on the three dots next to any result.
SEE ALSO: How trans people use technology to fight back against aggressionAdditionally, users have the option to request an update to an outdated Search result — such as a Search summary that still lists old information for a since-refreshed website — that prompts Google's systems to re-crawl the page for relevant information. To request an update, users can click on those same three dots and select "I want to request a refresh."
Credit: GoogleGoogle launched Results About You in 2023, a tool designed to enhance users' online privacy and potentially prevent digital doxxing. At the time, the company released new features to address revenge porn and options to blur explicit images in Search alongside the new monitoring tool, as well.
Amid a flurry of Search updates (included those powered by generative AI) in 2024, Google announced additional initiatives to tackle misinformation and non-consensual personal imagery in Search, including new policies to curb the proliferation of explicit deepfakes and the prevalence of AI-enhanced misinformation. In December, the company came under fire for updating its platform programing and advertising policies to seemingly allow for "digital fingerprinting" of its users.
Today, dating app Hinge launches Match Note, a feature for users to privately share details about themselves with matches before starting a conversation.
Match Notes are for aspects of oneself you might not want to share on your public profile, but you do want potential dates to know. For example, if you're non-monogamous, sober, or recently out.
SEE ALSO: Comparing AI features for Bumble, Hinge, and TinderHinge users can now add a Match Note when updating their settings. If someone has a Match Note, another user must acknowledge it in order to match (or they can decide not to match). Then, the note is automatically shared when two people Like each other.

Daters want a way to tell matches important life details without revealing them on their public profile.
In a survey of over 2,000 users who participated in a Match Note test, 68 percent said the feature improves their ability to determine compatibility with matches. Sixty-six percent said the feature improves their ability to "show up as their authentic self" on Hinge.
Match Note is preceded by Prompt Feedback, an AI-generated feature to help users write more unique answers to Hinge Prompts. This also follows an investigation into Match Group, the conglomerate that owns Hinge, about its failures to properly report bad actors on its dating apps.
Moo Deng might not be the internet's main animal attraction anymore, but there's clearly still a lot of love out there for the pygmy hippo.
In the deeply wholesome video above, The White Lotus Season 3 stars Sarah Catherine Hook and Sam Nivola (aka the two youngest siblings in the troubled Ratliff family) pay Moo Deng and her family a visit at Thailand's Khao Kheow Open Zoo.
It's as adorable as you'd expect, and they even round the meeting off with a quick game of hippo-based trivia.

Avid Kindle readers should go check their Kindle Rewards balance right now. They might just have some free money waiting to be put toward a new book on their 2025 reading list.
If you haven't heard yet, Amazon rewards Kindle users for doing the exact thing that made them want a Kindle in the first place: reading. The Kindle Rewards point system dishes out three Kindle points for each dollar spent on Kindle books and one Kindle point for each dollar spent on print books (excluding textbooks, magazines, newspapers, audiobooks, and digital subscriptions). Every 300 points is turned into $3 in Kindle book credits.
300 points sounds steep until you realize that most individual Kindle book purchases are an easy 40 to 50 points. (If you go the print route, you're still looking at 20 to 30 points, plus a new coffee table decoration.) The 300-point milestone could be reached every six or seven books, which may not take long, depending on how much you read.
Kindles are overwhelmingly our favorite e-readers thanks to their superior design and processing power. While other e-readers lag when turning pages or downloading books, Kindles zip through tasks so they read as fast as you need them to. However, we also love that you can save when you spend in the Kindle store.
If you're already a loyal shopper in the Kindle Store, you're probably already racking up the points, but how do you use them? Here's everything to know about Amazon's Kindle Rewards program and how you can make the most of it.
Do I have to sign up for Kindle rewards?Kindle Rewards doesn't require sign-up, and technically doesn't even require a Kindle. (You can read the books you buy on Amazon on your phone or tablet through the Kindle app if you want.) All Amazon users are eligible, regardless of their status as a Kindle Unlimited member, which is unrelated. Buying your first Kindle Book or eligible print book automatically kicks off the points-earning process. If you've already made purchases in the Kindle Store, you've likely started earning points.
How do I use my Kindle rewards? Credit: Screenshot: AmazonYou can find your Kindle Rewards points on the rewards page on the web version of Amazon, as you can't buy a Kindle book directly from the Kindle app or Amazon app.
To find potential points that would be earned on a book you're eyeing, simply check out the Amazon listing for that book. As long as you're logged into your Amazon account, Kindle Rewards points values should show up by the prices for each book.
Once you've hit 300 points on Kindle Rewards, your $3 reward will be ready to use. The rewards are only applicable to use on purchases in the Kindle store — not other Amazon orders. You should see a Kindle Rewards button next to the Buy Now with 1-Click button. Make sure that box is checked and receive three dollars off your order.
The fine print is that once points are earned, you have three months to redeem them. This wasn't always the case, but a June 2023 change to the Kindle Rewards program put a three-month expiration date on Kindle points.
Don't miss out on double reward daysIf you want to make the most of the Kindle Reward program, look out for double reward days. These special events typically last 48 hours, and your rewards earnings double. This means that for every dollar spent, you get six points. Plus, there's even the elusive triple points day that are certainly not to be missed.
To make sure you never miss a Kindle Rewards special offer, make sure you allow push notifications from the Kindle app, and you'll be alerted as soon as the event kicks off.
