The Amazon Prime Day sale event is nearly upon us — June 23 is the kickoff date, if you haven't marked your calendar for it yet — but if you don't want to wait until then to shop, you don't have to. The retailer has dropped quite a few early deals that have caught our attention, so you can take advantage of some stellar savings before the four-day sale event even begins.
Select Samsung products, in particular, have seen some nice price cuts ahead of the sale event at Amazon. From monitors to smartphones to smartwatches, there's a whole lot to look through right now that's been marked down from the company.

While testing tablets, I've learned a few things. Yes, iPads really are that good, but also, Android tablets are vastly underrated. With Prime Day almost here, running June 23 to 26, I'm focused on which tablets will go on sale. Usually, iPads take big price cuts. Plus, I want to see premium Android tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra reach new all-time low prices.
But what's on sale now? Not much. Ahead of Prime Day, we're tracking tablet deals and found some deals to shop ahead of time. These deals are just OK, but if you're eager to shop now, these are the best tablets on sale at the moment.

Everyone knows that Amazon loves to discount its own devices during its Prime Day events. So far, though, the early Prime Day tablet deals are a little thin on the ground, at least where Amazon's Fire Tablet line is concerned. There's one excellent standout right now, and it's the Amazon Fire 7 Kids tablet at 50% off, which is a solid drop on a family-friendly pick anyone could use.
Beyond that, most of what we're seeing on Fire tablets is bundle-based rather than straight markdowns, so the value you'll get per bundle depends on whether you actually want the extras. But you can expect the selection to widen dramatically as we get closer to the main event.

Amazon Prime Day is almost here once more, and the retailer has started the savings early for anyone with a Nintendo Switch on their wishlist. Several of our favorite Switch and Switch 2 games and accessories are already discounted ahead of the main event, and you can shop them right now.
The four-day sale doesn't officially begin until June 23, but early deals are live as of June 16. The console itself is the exception, though. The Switch 2 turns one this month and is set for a price increase to $499.99 on September 1 rather than a cut. The real savings you'll find right now are on games and accessories.

If you're not sure what size TV to get, the internet will probably tell you that 65 inches is the most palatable size. That's big enough to be seen from 10 feet away, but not so massive that you'll get a headache in a close-knit living space. A 65-inch TV is also more likely to fit comfortably on the average TV stand than if you bumped up to 75 inches.

Before Prime Day 2026 officially starts on June 23, I've found more than 10 worthwhile deals on 65-inch TVs already live. Many are 2026 models that just came out in the spring, already on sale at a new record-low price.
Best 65-inch TV deal ahead of Prime Day TCL 65-inch Q8ML Mini LED QLED 4K TV $1,499.99 at AmazonJust released in April 2026, the TCL Q8ML is the successor to TCL's popular QM8K TV. The single letter change in the title doesn't quite cover the difference in lighting tech here. The SQD Q8ML series features "super quantum dot mini LEDs," which are essentially an extra-bright version of regular quantum dots that are able to reproduce 100 percent of the BT2020 color spectrum. In dark rooms, the 4,000 local dimming zones packed into the Q8ML provide much sharper contrast than a regular mini LED TV.

This year, Amazon decided to launch into Prime Day a bit early, and we're in for big savings between June 23 and 26. But I've been covering Prime Day deals for nearly five years now, and I can tell you with certainty that those dates are merely suggestions. You can find plenty of great deals before the sale starts, and others that linger on into the days after the sale.

The TCL has a native refresh rate of up to 144Hz for crisp and quick gaming. The refresh rate is also excellent if you're sitting down to enjoy watching World Cup games this summer. TCL has the list price for the 65-inch ClassQM6K QLED TV set at $799.99, but Amazon's early Prime Day sale takes 33% off.

It's nearly Amazon Prime Day, which officially runs from June 23 through 26, but if you don't feel like waiting, there's already plenty of live deals to shop.
Besides offering three free months of both Kindle Unlimited and Audible to new subscribers, Amazon also has some pretty great discounts on books themselves. I'm not usually one to recommend purchasing physical books via Amazon (support local book stores!), but it's pretty hard to pass up a 50% price drop on a book you've had on your TBR.
