On Sunday, House of the Dragon's Harry Collett watched hundreds of fans witness his onscreen death. But first, he DJed for them.
SEE ALSO: 'House of the Dragon' Season 3, episode 1: Let's talk about that major deathHBO celebrated House of the Dragon's Season 3 premiere with a rooftop viewing party of the episode at New York City's Pier 17.
Before the screening began, treating fans to the spectacular Battle of the Gullet (including the tragic death of Collett's Jacaerys Velaryon), the event featured DJ sets from Mister Sunday, Marc Kinchen, and Collett himself, sporting a House of the Dragon-themed soccer jersey.
For people who didn't know what was in store for Jace, Collett's DJing was a fun way to ring in the new season. For people who knew what was coming, it felt like a rager before a funeral.
It didn't help that the graphics on the screen behind Collett foreshadowed his character's fate. The screen read "Harry Collett" against a watery background littered with ship wreckage, hinting at the Battle of the Gullet and how Jace dies: clinging to driftwood. Not cool, graphics designers! I wanted to boogie to Cheryl Lynn's "Got To Be Real," not be reminded of Jace's impending death!
The good vibes from the DJ sets shifted once the episode began, with the energy moving from party mode to House of the Dragon mode. Attendees locked in harder than Jace locking Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy) in Dragonstone. (Too soon?) Watching alongside a group of passionate people, you could hear watercooler moments being born in real-time.
Fans applauded as Rhaena (Phoebe Campbell) claimed Sheepstealer, screamed at Aemond (Ewan Mitchell) and Alicent's (Olivia Cooke) upsetting kiss, and experienced non-stop panic attacks throughout the entire Battle of the Gullet.
When Rhaena crashed the Gullet, cheers erupted. But when Sheepstealer went rogue, those cheers turned to anguished yells. Elsewhere, Alyn of Hull's (Abubakar Salim) takedown of Sharako Lohar (Abigail Thorn) earned satisfied hoots and hollers, which faded into despair as viewers reckoned with the fact that Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint) might be dead.
Harry Collett gives a speech after a "House of the Dragon" premiere screening. Credit: Gabe YehIt all culminated in Jace's death, which earned the loudest (and most pained) shouts of the night. As sad as it was to see the poor prince peppered with arrows, Boromir-style, hearing these reactions was a reminder of the communal power of TV, especially event TV like House of the Dragon. It's just more fun to watch with other people, to experience these blistering highs and lows together, even if what you're watching is a beloved character sink to his watery grave.
While the night ended poorly for Jace, the same was not true for Collett.
After the screening, he returned to the stage, with the screen now reading "All men must die." On the one hand, ouch. On the other hand, who else gets to say they DJed their own funeral?
"Thank you for accepting me as your Jace for the past five years," Collett told the audience. "It's honestly been the job of a lifetime."
Collett went to cut a large Iron Throne cake with — what else? — a giant sword.
After the cake had been thoroughly massacred, he gave fans one last tease of what's to come in a post-Jace House of the Dragon: "I hope you enjoy the rest of Season 3, because it's an absolute banger."

Since it began in 1930, the World Cup's most memorable moments are rarely the ones that end with a team lifting a trophy. And the 2026 FIFA World Cup is no exception.
So far, this tournament has been defined by its underdog celebrations: Curaçao fans erupting after their team walked away with a draw, Cape Verde exploding into a global fan favorite team in just two games, and lesser soccer powers like DR Congo, Haiti, Uzbekistan, and Egypt hitting milestones they've awaited for decades.
To bring you up to speed, here are our picks of the best underdog moments from this World Cup so far.
Curaçao celebrates its first World Cup point like a win This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed. In Willemstad, Curaçao’s capital city, fans gathered to watch their national team play Ecuador in its first-ever World Cup. The match ended 0-0 — but for Curaçao, a draw still meant history. The team had earned its first point in the tournament standings.
That point mattered even more because of how the match played out. Curaçao had opened the tournament six days earlier with a 7-1 loss to Germany. Ecuador controlled most of the team's second game, finishing with nearly 30 shots and more than three expected goals.
But goalkeeper Eloy Room kept Curaçao in it, making 15 saves and helping the team hold on for the draw.
By the final whistle, Curaçao had not scored, but it had done enough to give fans something to celebrate. The country has a population of about 156,000, making it the smallest nation ever to play at a World Cup, so its presence at the tournament was already historic. Its first ever point made the moment feel even bigger.
Cape Verde becomes everyone’s favorite debut story This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.Cape Verde has been one of the easiest teams to root for at this World Cup, and not just because it is making its tournament debut.
The team, nicknamed the Blue Sharks, arrived with a fanbase already ready for the moment, with Cape Verdean communities around the world watching a small island nation see its name on soccer’s biggest stage.
But the games gave everyone even more reason to pay attention. Cape Verde held Spain to a 0-0 draw in its first-ever World Cup match, then followed it with a 2-2 draw against Uruguay. Kevin Pina scored the country’s first World Cup goal with a long-range free kick from 31 meters out, and Hélio Varela came off the bench to score the second-half equalizer.
The team has also found a breakout star in Vozinha, its 40-year-old goalkeeper. After helping shut out Spain, he became one of the viral names of the tournament, with his Instagram following jumping from around 50,000 to more than 15 million.
Vozinha's virality also brought attention to one of the tournament’s most touching off-field stories. The keeper revealed he was crying after the Spain game because his mother could not attend because of visa costs. But with some help from the State Department and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, she was able to get a visa in time for Cape Verde’s match against Uruguay in Miami.
That's not the only amazing underdog story in the Cape Verde team. Another player, an Irishman with dual nationality, found himself in the squad after being recruited by its coach on LinkedIn — via a DM he initially thought was spam.
With a final group match against Saudi Arabia still ahead, the Blue Sharks now have a chance to turn one of the tournament’s best stories into something even bigger, and potentially make it into the final 32 teams.
Iran left Los Angeles with a handwritten thank-you note This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed. Not every touching moment has looked like fans running into the streets.
After Iran’s 0-0 draw with Belgium at SoFi Stadium, the team’s most-shared moment came from the locker room. Before leaving, Iran left behind a handwritten note thanking Los Angeles for its hospitality and thanking Iranian fans who gave their “heart, voice and soul.”
“We came to Los Angeles with pride, competed with honour, and leave with dignity,” the note reads.
The message stood out because Iran’s tournament has unfolded under unusual circumstances. The team has been based in Tijuana, Mexico, and traveling into the U.S. for matches because of restrictions around its stay, with some staff and officials reportedly banned from entering the country. Iran arrived in Los Angeles the night before the Belgium match, played at midday, and was expected to leave again that night.
On the field, Iran still managed to hold Belgium scoreless and leave Los Angeles with a point. Off the field, it left a note that gave the result a different kind of weight, turning a 0-0 draw into one of the tournament’s more human moments.
Uzbekistan lost, but still made history View this post on InstagramUzbekistan’s World Cup debut did not end with a win, but that was not the only thing people were watching for.
The game against Colombia marked the country’s tournament debut and the first-ever World Cup appearance by a Central Asian nation — and its first goal. The game drew public screenings and early-morning crowds, and gave fans a debut they had waited years to see, even with a 3-1 loss.
Haiti returned after more than five decades View this post on InstagramHaiti is back at the World Cup after a 52-year absence, and its return this year has been about more than just soccer.
The team also qualified despite playing every match away from home, which has made its presence in the tournament feel especially meaningful for Haitian supporters.
For fans, the World Cup gives Haiti a chance to be seen through football, pride, and family, rather than the crisis narratives that often surround the country in international coverage.
Egypt finally got its first World Cup win View this post on InstagramEgypt is not a tiny newcomer in the same way Curaçao or Cape Verde is, but its victory against New Zealand still belongs in this roundup — because the country has been waiting 92 years to win at the World Cup.
Mohamed "Mo" Salah, star of mighty club team Liverpool FC, helped Egypt beat the Kiwis 3-1, handing the African team its first-ever World Cup victory. Reuters reported that celebrations continued in Vancouver and in Cairo, where fans went into the streets even though the match ended around 6 a.m. local time.
I think I speak for everyone when I say that streaming prices are getting out of hand. Every year, the monthly fees go up, as does the number of services you need to watch the shows and movies you love.
Fortunately, a good chunk of these streamers will let you test the water before diving in and paying full price for their service. These trials give you the opportunity to sample the streaming library to decide whether it's right for you — or even binge-watch a whole season of a show for free. And watching something for free is a special type of dopamine hit.
SEE ALSO: The best TV shows of 2026 (so far), and where to stream themMost of the big dogs in the streaming world — Disney+, Peacock, Paramount+, and most recently, Hulu (RIP 30-day trial) — no longer offer free trials, following in the footsteps of Netflix and HBO Max. But plenty of other smaller, lesser-known services let you try before you buy. Plus, Prime Video's add-on subscriptions generally come with free trials. Here's a list of all of the streaming services that offer free trials in 2026, updated with the latest pricing and trial length details.
Best free trial: Prime Video Opens in a new window Credit: Prime Video Prime Video (30-Day Trial) Get Deal Why we like itPrime Video can sometimes be an afterthought, as it's just one perk of an Amazon Prime membership. However, the streaming service is actually home to plenty of excellent shows — like one of our favorite shows of 2026, Bait, as well as some of our favorites from the last few years, like Overcompensating, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and Fallout. Plus, you can't forget the library of hit movies, like Hedda, Sinners, Challengers, Wicked, Conclave, and Blink Twice.
It's $14.99 per month if you choose to subscribe to Prime or just $8.99 per month for Prime Video on its own. Either way, you'll get a free 30-day trial to kick things off. And the best part is that it's not just for newbies; returning Prime members are eligible for free trials as well. So if you cancel every so often, you'll be eligible for another trial period.

Days before his 39th birthday, legendary striker Lionel Messi gave Argentina fans an unbeatable gift — by becoming the top goalscorer in World Cup history.
Just one goal in Argentina's game against Austria would have put Messi on top of the all-time goalscorer list, at 17 goals. Messi managed two, scoring his second in the last minute of added-on stoppage time.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.Google was ready for the historic moment. Fans noted that searches for "Messi" produced a shower of virtual confetti from the search giant.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.Messi's 18th World Cup goal puts him two ahead of Miroslav Klose, a German player whose last World Cup was in 2014. That's how long we've been waiting for a new goal record.
One fan in the stadium, however, seems to have been preparing for this moment since 1926.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.During the game, Messi also missed a penalty kick — and it wasn't his first time. The Argentine striker hit another record when he became the first player to miss a penalty in three separate World Cups. But some fans argued Messi didn't want to claim the record via a penalty — and if anything, the miss made him more of a social media legend ...
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed. As did his height. (Messi is 5 ft. 7 in. tall).
Messi is the best short person of all time
— JP Acosta (@acosta32jp.bsky.social) June 22, 2026 at 12:02 PMSome fans wryly noted Messi has scored almost exactly the same goal multiple times in his club career.
Meanwhile, at least one Austrian was downhearted about his sartorial choices.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.Still, whether or not he is the GOAT, Messi needs to watch his back. Kylian Mbappe, France's top goalscorer, is sitting pretty on an all-time World Cup count of 14 goals — and has plenty of games left to go. As fans are quick to point out, Mbappe has nothing but praise and humility for his rival, recently declaring Messi a better player.
Mbappe vs. Messi World Cup final, anyone?
Amazon's annual Prime Day sale runs from June 23-26 this year. That's right, Amazon has shifted the event from mid-July to late June.

This huge event will go hard on just about every category: You can expect significant savings on Apple MacBooks, limited-time price cuts on Bose headphones, and all-time lows on Samsung OLED TVs. Our professional deal hunters are ready and waiting to help you save, and we'll be cross-checking prices at Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart to make sure you get the lowest prices.

Oof. Ouch. Yikes. We now have an official price for the Valve Steam Machine, a pre-built console-esque gaming PC that's meant to live in your living room instead of under your desk — and it will cost you more than twice the price of a gaming console.
Here are the eye-popping numbers:
Steam Machine 512GB: $1,049
Steam Machine 512GB with controller: $1,128
Steam Machine 2TB: $1,349
Steam Machine 2TB with controller: $1,428
The device will go on sale starting June 29, and you can register for one now on Valve's store page.
Valve's price reveal coincided with several outlets sharing their reviews and impressions of the device based on pre-launch testing. The Verge, for one, found it to be a quality device, but with performance that roughly matches that of a PS5.
That's not the worst review in the world, though it needs to be emphasized that the PS5 is currently $599 and launched six years ago. On the other hand, the Steam Machine can play a wider variety of games (and do other PC-centric things, so long as you're tech-savvy enough).
Valve would not sell this device for more than $1,000 if it had any choice in the matter. PC hardware components have become exorbitantly expensive thanks to the push for AI data center reconstruction, a phenomenon we've come to refer to as RAMageddon.
A memory chip shortage is affecting everything in tech right now, and Tim Cook has admitted it will raise the price of Apple products. Even the aforementioned PS5 costs $100 more than it did at launch.
In short, Valve launched what seems to be a very good device ... at the worst possible time.
After a hot start with its IPO two weeks ago, SpaceX stock has seen almost all of its gains erased.
SpaceX stock has fallen for three consecutive trading days as of Monday, dropping 8 percent in one day alone. It is now trading at under $170 a share — roughly where it was on the day SpaceX went public.
Elon Musk's space exploration and AI company went public on June 12 with the biggest IPO in history, one which made Musk a trillionaire. On June 16, SpaceX stock hit a high of more than $225. Days later, SpaceX announced that the company had acquired AI coding agent Cursor. Shortly after the $60 billion acquisition announcement, SpaceX stock fell and has been tumbling ever since.
What's the problem with SpaceX stock? There are an increasing number of red flags on SpaceX stock that seem to be sending some investors running the other way — not to mention orange ones.
MSCI, the finance company and index provider, has slapped SpaceX with a score of one out of 10 in its “controversies” category. SpaceX has received an “orange flag” due to this score, which notes if a company is involved in one or more severe controversies.
SEE ALSO: Elon Musk seemingly found the cheat code for capitalism. The SpaceX IPO proves it.A score of zero out of 10 and a "red flag" would have been awarded if SpaceX was found to be “directly involved in one or more very severe ongoing controversy cases,” according to the Financial Times. For example, Volkswagen received a MSCI red flag in 2022 after allegations of forced labor at an assembly plant in China.
Worse for SpaceX was MSCI awarding the company with the lowest possible environmental, social and governance (ESG) rating, a Triple-C ESG rating. ESG is often used by investors and funds looking for the most ethical, least problematic stocks — helping them avoid tobacco companies and firearm manufacturers, for example.
Musk's company is "lagging its industry based on its high exposure and failure to manage significant ESG risks," MSCI notes. For example, SpaceX's IPO revealed $3 billion in new gas turbines for an AI data center project in Mississippi — where the company is already being sued for running gas turbines without an air permit.
SpaceX's Triple-C grade is the same one given to Russia, on MSCI's international government version of the scale, after the invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
Other MSCI concerns include SpaceX's limiting of shareholder rights, its concentration of control (Musk has 40% of shares but 80% of voting rights), conflicts of interest with his other companies, and a lack of independent board members.
MSCI's ESG rating for SpaceX is likely to catch Musk's attention. Musk has previously lashed out when Tesla was removed from the S&P 500 ESG Index in 2022 due to claims of racial discrimination at the electric vehicle company, as well as scant details on Tesla's low-carbon strategy.
Back then, Musk called the whole ESG concept a "scam" that was "weaponized by phony social justice warriors" — so if history is any guide, expect a torrent of rage tweets direct at MSCI.

While Black Friday still remains top dog when it comes to online shopping holidays, Amazon Prime Day follows close behind. Despite it being Amazon's official shopping celebration for Prime members, lots of other retailers run major counter-sales to try to cash in on some of that consumer traffic. But can any of these anti-Prime Day sales actually compete with the real deal? Which rival sales are worth shopping? We've broken it all down for you.
BTW, Amazon Prime Day runs from June 23 through 26 in 2026. Most competing sales overlap these dates in some capacity, but many last longer and/or begin before Amazon's big day. Whether you want to expand your horizons this Prime Day, score all the best deals across retailers, or avoid Amazon altogether (we get it), here's a master list of all of the best Prime Day rival sales to shop, with key dates and top deals to watch.
Best BuyKey dates to know: June 22 - June 28
Top deals to watch: laptops, TVs, gaming gear, headphones, small appliances
Best Buy is running a weeklong "Tech Fest" sale from June 22 to 28 in 2026. It's historically Amazon's biggest competitor when it comes to tech deals, with Amazon one-upping Best Buy by literal cents in many cases. Still, if you're looking for laptops, TVs, gaming gear, or small appliances, Best Buy is the spot to shop. The retailer's inventory is more comprehensive in these departments overall. Not to mention, Best Buy often stocks older devices that Amazon no longer carries. For instance, check out this $300 discount on a specced out Apple M4 MacBook Air.
WalmartKey dates to know: June 22 - June 28
Top deals to watch: home goods, floor care, toys, outdoor gear, budget TVs, Apple accessories
The anti-Prime Day Walmart Summer Deals event will run from June 22 to 28, matching Best Buy's sale. Walmart's past sales have highlighted some excellent deals on Apple accessories, budget TVs (the cheapest QLED TV we saw last Prime Day), floor care from top brands like Dyson and Shark, toys (including Lego), and surprisingly good outdoor gear.
TargetKey dates to know: June 23 - June 26
Top deals to watch: kitchen gadgets, books, outdoor gear, back-to-school essentials, clothing
Target is going head to head with Amazon this year, with its Circle Deal Days event running June 23 through 26. Like Amazon, you have to be a Circle member to shop the best deals. Unlike Amazon, it's free to join. As in previous Circle shopping events, this year's anti-Prime Day sale at Target will feature "Deal of the Day" offers, which are only available for 24 hours. Be on the lookout for these each day. Other notable offers include up to 45% off select kitchen gadgets from Cuisinart, Keurig, and Ninja, up to 45% off floor care from Bissell and Hoover, 40% off back-to-school essentials, and 40% off select women's clothing and beauty items.
The Home DepotKey dates to know: June 11 - June 24, June 25 - July 8
Top deals to watch: cordless tools, grills, lawncare, outdoor gear
The Home Depot kicked off a Father's Day sale earlier this month and it wraps up mid-Prime Day on June 24. From there, things will switch over to a 4th of July sale and run through July 8. If you're looking for cordless tools, lawncare equipment, outdoor cooking gear, or DIY tools and storage, this is the sale to shop. Early deals already include free cordless DeWalt tools, and we're likely to see more free stuff in the coming days.

Samsung's next premium smartwatch might exist at the expense of another one in its lineup.
That's according to Samsung leaker GalaxyTechie on X, anyway. The original post seems to be gone, but it's been archived by AndroidCentral, and it indicates Samsung will not release a new Galaxy Watch 9 Classic this year, instead focusing on a more premium Galaxy Watch Ultra that incorporates some Classic features. The new Ultra is said to have Classic-esque numbers on the watch face, a more boxy look, a thinner bezel, and improved side buttons.
SEE ALSO: How to set up the smartest Galaxy AI features on your new Samsung Galaxy S26, step by stepOne thing this leak doesn't say is whether the new Galaxy Watch Ultra will come with a rotating bezel, something Samsung included on some watch models in years past. In general, it sounds like Samsung will combine some of the things people liked about the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic last year with the high-end features of the Ultra. Of course, both the rumored Galaxy Watch 9 and the new Ultra will most likely come with plenty of new watch faces and band colors, as well.
As for when we'll find out whether or not any of this is true, we probably won't have to wait long. Samsung's next big Unpacked event is supposedly happening in London in late July. According to all available rumors and leaks, the new watches will be there alongside a new lineup of foldable phones.
TL;DR key takeaways:
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Series is built around Galaxy AI[1], with features that surface information when you need it and stay out of the way when you don't.
Now Brief and Now Bar recap your schedule, current weather forecast, and live activities like music playback.
Call Screening filters unknown callers and provides a live transcript of their reason for calling before you decide whether to pick up.
Photo Assist[2], Creative Studio[3], and Bixby work together so editing, content creation, and voice control all happen in one place.
Privacy Display[4] on the Galaxy S26 Ultra narrows the screen’s viewing angle to keep your screen private in public spaces.
Modern existence can be exhausting. Between double-booked meetings on your work calendar and an entire digital social life to manage online, the small stuff has a way of stealing time you’d rather have for, you know, life.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 is built to smooth out the rhythm of that everyday routine so you can get some of your time back. From need-to-know morning briefings that set your workday up for success, to live call transcripts that filter unknown numbers before you decide whether to pick up, to weekend photo-editing for post-worthy content, the device handles the little things for you.
Opens in a new window Credit: Samsung Samsung Galaxy S26 £1,269Much of this behind-the-scenes help is thanks to Galaxy AI, Samsung’s on-device AI platform, which got a boost with the brand’s latest lineup of S26 devices. Here’s a quick, step-by-step guide to setting up the most useful features the moment you’ve finished unboxing.
Step 1. Personalise your lock screen with Now BriefNow Brief is the Galaxy S26’s personalised daily briefing. It pulls together calendar entries, weather data, and updates from your selected interests (e.g., health and wellness, travel, news, music and podcasts, SmartThings, and Wallet), so you can get all that information at a quick glance. For those days when your brain is at about 40 percent capacity before your first coffee, the day's essentials are right at your fingertips instead of buried across half a dozen apps.
To set it up:
First, switch on Personal Data Intelligence in Settings (this is what lets Galaxy AI process your habits and preferences on-device to personalise the briefing)
Then, open Settings, tap Galaxy AI, and select Now Brief
Tap Content to Include and toggle on any of the categories you want to see
You can then access Now Brief from the Edge panel, from the Now Bar on your lock screen (more on that in the next step), or by adding the Now Brief widget to your home screen.
Now Brief also refreshes through the day with morning, afternoon, and evening versions, so what you see in the morning can be geared toward revving up for the day ahead, and your evening digest can be designed for wind-down mode. The feature is also intelligent and adaptive, so the longer you use it, the more tailored its suggestions become.
Step 2. Turn on Now Bar for live activities on your lock screenNow Bar pairs with Now Brief by showing real-time activities on your lock screen, such as music playback controls and active timers. If you’re listening to a podcast while making dinner or following turn-by-turn directions, Now Bar keeps the relevant information one glance away.
To configure it:
Open Settings, select Lock Screen and AOD, then tap Now Bar
Under Live Notifications, tap See All and toggle on the apps you want
Back on the Now Bar screen, turn on options like Now Brief, Current Mode, Do Not Disturb, and Torch
Tap a Now Bar entry to expand it, swipe up to cycle between active ones, or press and hold to manage settings
Spam calls always seem to ring the moment you sit down to focus, and the line between a genuine call and a scam attempt gets blurrier every year.
The Galaxy AI Call Screening feature uses on-device AI to evaluate calls from unknown numbers and supply a live transcript of the caller’s intent, so you can decide whether or not to pick up. It works across more than a dozen languages, and you can configure it to auto-screen all unknown callers if you’d rather not see them ring through.
To activate it:
Open the Phone app
Tap the three-dot menu in the upper right-hand corner and click Settings
Look for Call Screening at the top of the list and toggle the feature on to enable
Automation lets you chain conditions to actions, so your phone behaves the way you want without manual toggling. For example: You might want your Galaxy S26 to dim the screen and switch to grayscale half an hour before your usual bedtime, or silence work-app notifications the moment you leave the office.
To create a Routine:
Open Settings > Modes and Routines
Tap the Routines tab (on the bottom menu)
Hit the ‘+’ icon up top
Set your ‘If’ conditions (location, time, app, sensor trigger, etc.), and the resulting ‘Then’ actions
Hit ‘Save’ to add the Routine to your device’s memory
Photo Assist lives inside the Gallery app and lets you remove unwanted elements in the chaotic group shot you need to tidy. You can add new details (like a full moon over the skyline or fresh snow on the ground), shift the lighting on a shot using text or voice prompts, or merge two photos together into a single frame.
To activate:
Open any photo in your Gallery
Tap the Galaxy AI icon at the centre of the bottom toolbar (the starburst icon)
Circle the area you want to change or describe the edit you’re after
Edits save as copies, so your originals stay intact.
Step 6. Generate shareable content in Creative StudioCreative Studio, accessed via the Edge panel, turns your existing photos into custom stickers, greeting cards, or invitations. It's a simple way to spin a portrait of your kid into a birthday-party invite, or a cute snapshot of your dog into a sticker pack the fam group chat will love.
To make something:
Swipe in the Edge panel and tap Creative Studio
Choose a photo
Describe what you want to make and pick a style
Tap Generate
You'll have something ready to share within seconds (no extra design software or apps necessary).
Step 7. Switch on Privacy DisplayThough not an AI feature per se, the Privacy Display is a smart enough design to deserve a spot on this list.
It’s a hardware-level feature exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra that narrows the screen’s viewing angle — so the stranger sitting next to you on public transport can’t easily read your dating app messages, account balance on your banking app, or whatever other sensitive info may be on your screen.
To enable the feature:
Head to Settings > Display
Toggle Privacy Display on
To set it to activate automatically in certain circumstances:
Tap Privacy Display > Conditions for Turning On > Apps
Choose from the list, or toggle on PIN, pattern, password so the feature kicks in whenever you authenticate
Bixby on the Galaxy S26 has returned with stronger natural language understanding, so you can phrase requests the way you’d say them out loud.
To start a conversation with Bixby:
Open the Bixby app from your app drawer or say ‘Hi Bixby’ once you've enabled voice activation in Settings > Bixby > Voice Wake-Up
Or, for a more integrated setup, pair a set of Galaxy Buds and set them up to work with Galaxy AI:
Open the case near your Galaxy S26 and follow the on-screen prompt, or head to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth
Once linked, your Buds can handle Bixby commands hands-free and take incoming calls[5], so you can lean on Call Screening without lifting the phone to your ear.
Those are just eight of the Galaxy S26 features most worth switching on out of the box, and there are plenty more you can play with to help streamline your daily life. A few minutes of set-up now, and the S26 takes over the small stuff that's been making the daily juggle feel heavier than it needs to be.
The Galaxy S26 Series is available now at samsung.com.

Dashcam company BlackVue is broadcasting real-time video feeds of its users' cameras to all app users around the world, in a potentially concerning privacy issue.
First reported by Australia's Nine News, BlackVue's official app includes a world map showing the location of many of its dashcams, which users can tap to watch real-time footage. A red ring around a BlackVue logo on the map indicates that a dashcam is openly viewable to the public, while those without a red ring indicate a vehicle's location without footage. These appear to be from users who have opted in to sharing their location, but not their live feed.
Mashable downloaded the BlackVue app and was able to view real-time footage from people's dashcams in countries across the world, including the U.S., Canada, and Australia. These cameras are pinpointed on the in-app world map, down to the exact street the vehicle is located on and how fast it's travelling. It also includes audio, allowing strangers to listen in on any conversations happening during the drive.

BlackVue's Parking Mode keeps its dashcams running 24/7 off the car's battery or an external power source, even when the vehicle isn't in use.
Anyone who downloads the app and makes an account can view these livestreams, even if they don't have a BlackVue dashcam themselves. Free accounts are limited to 10 minutes of live viewing per day, though buying BlackVue's paid Smart subscription unlocks unlimited time.
Mashable has reached out to BlackVue for comment.

Even so, Nine News reports that some users remain unaware of it, speaking to one dashcam owner who was shocked to discover the feature.
"You could keep listening to them, watching them and go from there, it’s bad for predators," user Alex told Nine News.
This isn't the first time concerns have been raised about this BlackVue dashcam feature. The company previously addressed the matter in a blog post last July, assuring customers that their footage was "private by default."
"When you first connect your BlackVue dash cam to BlackVue Cloud, your privacy settings are automatically set to private," wrote BlackVue. "This means your footage stays exactly where it should be — with you. No strangers can access your videos, no public viewing is enabled, and your journeys remain completely confidential unless you wish to share them."
Featured Video For You Moltbook's real risk isn't AI. It's your dataBlackVue's website markets its optional Cloud features as a way to check on your car from anywhere, with remote live view and video playback. However, such uses don't require everyone else with the app to be able to access your footage as well.
If you have a BlackVue dashcam and don't want to broadcast your live location to the world — and you shouldn't — it may be a good idea to double check your app's settings. According to BlackVue, you simply need to open the app, tap on your camera, select "More," then "Camera Settings" and "Privacy." From there you can toggle off "Share Location" to keep both you and your camera's video feed from the world.
Steven Spielberg has captivated audiences for decades with cinematic masterpieces like Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E.T., but his film Disclosure Day marks a sharp turn toward historical reality. Inspired by the groundbreaking 2017 New York Times exposé on the Pentagon's secret UAP task force, the film blurs the lines between Hollywood entertainment and genuine ufology. This comprehensive breakdown explores the five real-world historical pillars anchoring the plot, evaluating the actual declassified documents, congressional testimonies, and folklore that Spielberg used to piece together his narrative.

Does this season of House of the Dragon contain multitudes? Does a dragonseed shit in the woods?
In Season 3, episode 1, one character joins the distinguished ranks of Westeros folk who've pooped onscreen. And it's none other than Ulf the White (Tom Bennett).
SEE ALSO: 'House of the Dragon': Who is the antlered man near Harrenhal?Early in the episode, far from the Battle of the Gullet, we reconnect with the wild cards of Westeros. These are the three dragonriders who claimed Silverwing, Seasmoke, and Vermithor: Ulf, Addam of Hull (Clinton Liberty), and Hugh Hammer (Kieran Bew), respectively, despite being born adjacent to the royal bloodline. They've been assigned to a creepy camp near Harrenhal, tasked by Queen Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy) to await the arrival of Aemond Targaryen (Ewan Mitchell) on his enormous dragon Vhagar.
The thing is, Aemond's late. And when you've gotta go, you've gotta go, despite the freaky visions you might encounter. And here, we're gifted a charming shot of Ulf having a crap in the woods, with all the juicy foley effects you can imagine.
Those sound effects? Jail. Credit: OllieThe scene instantly brings to mind one of the opening shots of Game of Thrones prequel A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, in which we see Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey) letting loose in a very scenic location. And never forget, in Game of Thrones Season 4, Tywin Lannister (Charles Dance) died on the toilet, possibly mid-poop.
When asked what it was like to join the Westeros Hall of Fame for Characters Who Hath Shat on Camera, Bennett told Mashable he relished the opportunity.
"You know what? That did go through my head. Part of me went, OK, who's had a poo in House of the Dragon or Game of Thrones?" Bennett said.
"He's actually also in a league of his own, because he's at least — to my knowledge — he's the only person that has a dragon and has pooed," noted Liberty. "So, you're very rarefied air."
"Yeah, I get to poo on camera, and uh..maybe you'll see me poo on camera again. Spoiler alert!" said Bennett.
"On Tom's CV, it says 'pooed on camera in House of the Dragon,'" said Liberty.
"'Can poo on camera,'" said Bennett.
"This is HBO," said Bew.
Featured Video For You 'House of the Dragon' cast on Season 3's colossal Battle of the GulletAll shits aside, it's a complex start to the season for the dragonseeds, as Hugh, Addam, and Ulf's varied personalities clash.
"We have been forced together by circumstances. We've all come from different places, and ultimately, we all want to get something different out of this newfound power. But we're different human beings, so there is a chemistry test happening in real time, where we are forced to sit on the edge of a cliff for three days in the rain," said Bennett.
"But we're being bonded by our frustration of the information flow from our very scary bosses who don't really instil a lot of confidence and security," said Bew.
"No one's ever had that initiation to be a dragonrider...being commoners," said Liberty. "So the fear that you have to go through, I think that also pulls us together."
"We're being bonded by our frustration of the information flow from our very scary bosses..."The camp where Addam, Ulf, and Hugh spend their assignment was originally filmed at a lakeside location in Wales near sprawling mountains — and it was actually too beautiful to be as creepy as the House of the Dragon team needed it to be.
"It looked like a Nordic vodka commercial," says Bennett. "When it came to the rushes, they went, it looks like they're having too good a time. It looks delightful. It looks like a jolly boys outing. So we had to reshoot everything in this little dank cave with water dripping, because the first time we did it, it just looked too nice."
"I was eating lamb the whole day," said Liberty. "Oh my god, I ate so much lamb. It was amazing, because I didn't eat breakfast, and then we got to set, and I was just being fed lamb. I think there was a take, I forgot my lines, because I was getting lamb out of my teeth, it was class."
