UPDATE: Oct. 8, 2024, 6:21 a.m. EDT This article has been updated with the latest self-emptying robot vacuum deals.
Best October Prime Day self-emptying robot vacuum deals: Best self-emptying robot vacuum deal Shark AV2501AAE AI $299.99 at Amazon (save $119.01) Get Deal Best self-emptying robot vacuum and mop deal Ecovacs Deebot T30S with handheld vacuum All-in-One Station $949.99 at Amazon (save $250) Get DealRobot vacuums have been a backbone of Prime Day for years now, but the type of robot vacuums on sale for Prime Day looks a little different now than it did five years ago.
While self-emptying robot vacuums on sale at all were few and far between back then, almost every single robot vacuum on sale during Prime Days present can empty themselves. That includes Prime events not officially called Prime Day, like Prime Big Deal Days coming up on Oct. 8 and 9. (Though for all intents and purposes, it's October Prime Day.)
SEE ALSO: I've tested over 20 robot vacuums and these are the best for every budget in 2024The universalization of the self-emptying dock has also made it a much more affordable feature in general, even when no discount is present — so Prime Day deals on these robovacs means you may not have to pay more than $300 or $400 to be off dustbin duty for a few weeks.
If you do have a more flexible budget, though, the automatic maintenance feature to look for this Prime Day would be self-washing and drying mopping pads. iRobot, Shark, Roborock, Eufy, Ecovacs, and more all have at least one robot vacuum and mop combo that deals with its own dust and dirty mopping pads all in the same dock. These are obviously pricier than hybrids that make you do this manually, so to have a few hundred dollars knocked off the price during (or before) Prime Day is game-changing.
We've pulled all the best deals on self-emptying robot vacuums live at Amazon ahead of the Prime Big Deal Days kickoff on Oct. 8. This list will be updated once the event officially begins tomorrow, so be sure to check back soon for even more deals.
Best self-emptying robot vacuum and mop deal Ecovacs Deebot T30S with handheld vacuum All-in-One Station $949.99 at AmazonEcovacs wasn't lying when it came up with the term "all-in-one cleaning hub" here, considering that this robot vacuum not only empties itself and washes and dries its own mopping pads, but also has another sweet feature tacked onto the dock: a handheld cordless vacuum. If your main hesitation with robot vacuums was that they can't scale a staircase, sweep under couch cushions, or detail corners up to your standards, this is the one robot vacuum purchase that can — now for less than $1,000.

UPDATE: Oct. 8, 2024, 6:00 a.m. EDT This article has been updated with the latest home security deals on October Prime Day sale. We've also removed a eufy security system deal to reflect prior reporting about privacy and transparency concerns.
The best October Prime Day home security deals at a glance: BEST VIDEO DOORBELL DEAL Blink Video Doorbell $29.99 at Amazon (save $30) Get Deal BEST HOME SECURITY BUNDLE DEAL Blink Whole Home Bundle $89.97 at Amazon (save $110) Get Deal BEST SINGLE SECURITY CAMERA DEAL TP-Link Tapo MagCam $59.99 at Amazon with on-page coupon (save $60) Get DealAmazon's massive fall sale is set to take place on Oct. 8 and 9 this year, so if you're shopping for some good deals this fall you'll want to tune into Prime Big Deals Days. Last year we saw nice discounts on kitchen appliances, Amazon devices, Apple products, and plenty more.
You might be thinking you have to wait until Oct. 8 to cash in on the savings, but Amazon would never make us wait that long. If you're looking to give your home security a bump, for instance, the mega-retailer has already dropped prices on video doorbells and security cameras of all shapes and sizes.
For those wanting to shop early, rest assured you'll still be getting a good — no, great — price on products from Blink, TP-Link, and even Google Nest. Some of these gadgets are already at record-low prices a week ahead of the big event.
Looking for Ring, eufy, or Wyze cameras? You won't find them on this list. Between exploiting user data, security breaches, and a lack of transparency, we strongly recommend steering clear of these brands. You can read more about our concerns in our best home security systems guide.
We'll be keeping a running tab below on all the best home security deals as Amazon's October Prime Day nears. Check back regularly for the latest updates.
Best video doorbell deal Blink Video Doorbell $29.99 at AmazonAhead of the Prime Big Deal Days event, the Blink Video Doorbell has dropped to just $29.99 from $59.99. That's 50% in savings and matches its Prime Day price from July. Is there a chance it could drop even further? Sure, but we see no reason to wait if you're in the market for a smart doorbell now. The Blink Video Doorbell lets you see who's at the door even when you're not home with a 1080p HD live view and two-way audio, plus infrared night vision once the sun goes down.

It includes the Blink Outdoor 4, Mini 2, Video Doorbell, and Sync Module 2, all for just $89.97. That's 55% off the retail value and the lowest price we've seen on this particular bundle. Motorola's first foldable razr phone was a major disappointment, as Mashable's reviewer Brenda Stolyar pointed out. Fortunately, the 2023 model made some big improvements, including the annoying hinge, the display, the battery life, and the price. The external display is not very useful (you'll have to upgrade to the razr+ for a larger one), but as our friends at PCMag (also owned by Ziff Davis) noted, "If you’re looking to dip your toes into the swelling pool of foldables, the 2023 Razr is a good place to start." Not that long ago, a 3D printing hobby wasn't really possible unless you had serious cash to burn. These days, while buying a 3D printer isn't super cheap, there are definitely some affordable options out there, which only become more so during sales like Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days.
None of the below deals from brands like AnkerMake, Sovol, and Anycubic are officially tied to Big Deal Days, but some of them are limited to Prime members only. These printers are also all from third-party sellers, with the Bambu deal coming straight from the brand's website.
SEE ALSO: Amazon's early Prime Day laptop deals are finally ramping up: Shop record lows on Apple, LG, and AcerWhile we typically only recommend products shipped and sold by Amazon, we found that 3D printers are mainly sold by third-party sellers. We still vetted the seller pages and brands, but as always, we recommend shopping at your own risk with third-party — if something feels way too good to be true, it probably is.
With all that said, here are the best 3D printer deals ahead of October Prime Day's official start on Oct. 8.
Best 3D printer deal Opens in a new window Credit: AnkerMake AnkerMake M5C 3D Printer $199.99 at AmazonOur friends at PCMag (also owned by Ziff Davis) deemed the AnkerMate M5C the best budget option for folks looking to get a 3D printer. They were fans of how easy the printer was to use, and how quickly it worked without sacrificing quality. It comes without higher end features like real-time video monitoring or an on-device display, but as Senior Analyst Tony Hoffman writes "it has a generous print area for its price, and the prints we produced were of high quality, even with the default settings in the slicer software." In other words, it's a great buy even at full price, so shaving $100 off the price makes it an even better value 3D printer.

While Apple, Sony, and Bose tend to get most of the hype around earbuds, there are plenty of other brands that sneak in there and surprise us. Amazon happens to be one of them with their 2021 Amazon Echo Buds. They provide excellent noise cancellation and are compatible with any system.
Normally $139.99, they're already a steal for a pair of earbuds with active noise cancellation. But ahead of Prime Day, they're down to $44.99, saving you $95 for 68% off.

The Marshall Emberton II speaker is perfect to bring along to any banger. It has a vintage look with the stylish gold script logo and textured front, but that doesn't distract from its functionality. With an IP67 rating, it's water and dust-resistant so you can even take it outside. Plus its 30 hours of battery life is insane.

Prime Day is one of the biggest shopping events on the internet and, fortunately for us, it happens twice a year.
October Prime Day in particular is not only a great time to buy a TV on sale, but happens to fall during prime TV watching season. Whether you're a football person, a scary movie person, or a cozy fall show rewatch person, this is your chance to upgrade TVs without waiting until Black Friday.

We've pulled the best ones and organized them by size, and will be refreshing this list daily throughout the sale and the days after — deals tend to stick around for a second after a Prime event ends.
Before you take the plunge on an Amazon TV deal, though, it would be smart to check out Best Buy's Flash Sale that happens to fall on the same two days as Prime Day. Best Buy tends to have a wider selection of TV deals than Amazon, particularly on the more premium end from Samsung, LG, and Sony.
Best TV deal overall Opens in a new window Credit: Amazon Amazon 55-inch 4 Series 4K Fire TV $339.99 at AmazonWho says you need to spend a grand to get a nice (and decently-sized) 4K TV? With the early 35% discount that Amazon slapped on the 55-inch version of its most affordable Fire TV, Prime members could actually get one for two different rooms for way less than $1,000.
As Amazon's most basic in-house Fire TV, the 4-Series would be best suited for people who aren't super picky about saturation or brightness levels as long as it's a step up from their old LED TV — and this definitely will be. With the intuitive Fire TV platform built in, the 4-Series can access all of your favorite streaming apps, which you can arrange in whatever layout makes sense to you.
