Tesla sales are reportedly falling globally. How bad it is and where.

Mashable - 10 hours 21 min ago

Of all Elon Musk's companies, the most successful and lucrative business has easily been his EV car company, Tesla. For many, the brand name "Tesla" has become synonymous with electric cars.

Unfortunately for the company, "Tesla" is also becoming synonymous with President Donald Trump and Elon Musk's embrace of the far-right.

Numerous reports have shown that Tesla's sales have plummeted worldwide as Musk ties himself to the Trump administration and fires federal workers under DOGE. EV outlet Electrek reports that Tesla's sales are worse in Europe. Last month, deliveries in Europe dropped by 50 percent compared to the same timeframe one year earlier.

Certain acts, like the so-called "Roman salute" gesture that Musk performed on Inauguration Day, have also affected Tesla's sales.

SEE ALSO: DOGE tech employees jointly resign in protest of Elon Musk

According to a new report on Wednesday, sales in Europe continue to decline. For example, Tesla has seen a sales decline of 76 percent in Germany. In February 2025, Tesla only delivered 1,429 new vehicles in Germany, compared to more than 6,000 in February 2024. This data is especially concerning for Tesla, as Germany is Europe's largest EV market. Musk recently backed Germany's far-right AfD party in the country's recent elections.

According to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA), Tesla vehicle registrations across the EU, including the UK, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein, fell by 45 percent from January 2024 to January 2025. It's not just Europe, either.

Tesla sales in Australia fell by nearly 72 percent in February. The company only sold 1,592 vehicles last month compared to the 5,665 it sold the previous year.

It appears that Tesla sales are slumping in the U.S., too. According to the California New Car Dealers Association, Tesla registered fewer cars in the state in all four quarters of 2024. California is the largest EV market in the U.S. Tesla sales fell by 8 percent in the fourth quarter and 12 percent for the whole year.

Recently, The New York Times reported on now-former Tesla owners who recently sold their EVs due to Musk's actions and the associated consequences of being seen as supporters of Musk's for driving a Tesla vehicle.

As long as Musk works with Trump, Tesla's business will likely continue to decline. After all, the consumers most likely to buy an electric vehicle are environmentally conscious, often liberal individuals. Even if the Trump-Musk relationship ends, it might be too late for Tesla to redeem itself in the eyes of many of those consumers.

NASA makes crucial move to keep its legendary Voyager craft alive

Mashable - 10 hours 21 min ago

There are only two human spacecraft in interstellar space. And their fuel is dwindling.

Voyager 1 — launched in 1977 and now over 15.6 billion miles from Earth — started out with 10 science instruments, but now has just three running after NASA turned off another gadget to conserve its finite nuclear fuel supply. And later this month, the space agency's engineers will turn off another instrument on its exploration sibling, Voyager 2.

"The Voyagers have been deep space rock stars since launch, and we want to keep it that way as long as possible," Suzanne Dodd, the Voyager project manager at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, said in a statement. "But electrical power is running low. If we don’t turn off an instrument on each Voyager now, they would probably have only a few more months of power before we would need to declare end of mission."

SEE ALSO: NASA's Voyager is in hostile territory. It's 'dodging bullets.'

With such engineering vigilance and expert troubleshooting, it's possible the Voyager craft can stay online through the mid-2030s.

"You have to praise the engineers."

The recently turned-off instrument is the cosmic ray subsystem experiment, which studied cosmic ray particles — high-energy atomic particles speeding through the cosmos, created by events like supernova explosions. This instrument played a pivotal role in revealing when Voyager 1 had left our solar system's heliosphere (a bubble of protective particles emitted by the sun) and entered interstellar space in 2012.

Tweet may have been deleted One of Voyager 1's three radioisotope thermoelectric generators, which generate electricity for the craft. Credit: NASA / JPL-Caltech

The remaining science instruments on Voyager are its magnetometer, plasma wave subsystem, and low-energy charged particle instrument, the last of which will be shut off in 2026. The plutonium fuel supply will gradually produce less power; the system has been losing four watts each year. A toaster uses 800 to 1500 watts, and, amazingly, each Voyager craft only generates around 249 watts.

Voyager 1's mission will end when it can't muster the energy to communicate with the gargantuan radio dishes of NASA's Deep Space Network, which are spread around the globe.

Tweet may have been deleted

The craft are now approaching 50 years of deep space exploration, surviving extreme bursts of radiation and swoops by icy planets. They are robust, trusty robots, but they couldn't survive alone. NASA engineers have for decades devised ways to keep the aging, radiation-pummeled craft alive, communicating with vintage computers aboard the nearly half-century old probes.

"You have to praise the engineers," Alan Cummings, a cosmic-ray physicist at Caltech — the research university that manages NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory — told Mashable last year.

But if you're seeking something brand spanking new (or new to streaming), we've got you covered there, too.

SEE ALSO: The best Netflix TV shows of 2024

Here's what's new on streaming, from worst to best.

10. Plankton: The Movie

Can't get enough of SpongeBob SquarePants? Good news, then: Netflix is offering another spinoff movie in spongey, three-dimensional CG.

As the title declares, Plankton: The Movie centers on the teeny, nefarious antagonist of Mr. Krabs. After 25 years of Plankton's failed plans — and poor listening skills — his computer wife Karen is fed up! She's going to do what he never could: World Domination. To stop her, this green grouch will have to team up with Bikini Bottom's best fry cook and his friends to save the day. What could go wrong?! — Kristy Puchko, Entertainment Editor

Starring: Mr. Lawrence, Jill Talley, Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, Clancy Brown, and Rodger Bumpass

How to watch: Plankton: The Movie is debuts on Netflix on March 7.

9. With Love, Meghan

Produced by the Duchess of Sussex herself with Netflix, With Love, Meghan is essentially a DIY tips show for people who love watching TikTok videos about hosting dinner parties — without any intention of actually hosting one. By people, I mean me. Over eight episodes, Meghan shares various kitchen and home tricks for you to either actually try or remain aspirational about. Shot at a lovely estate in Montecito, California (not Meghan and Harry's actual house), the show sees Meghan's friends — including Mindy Kaling, Roy Choi, and Alice Waters — stop by for chats about her career and life.

In my review for Mashable, I wrote, "Look, With Love, Meghan will not be everyone's show. If it's not yours, you can watch something else. But for people who feel empathetically tired for the Duchess of Sussex, enjoy watching one of the most vilified women on the planet find personal happiness and empowerment, and regularly binge-watch TikTok videos about hosting guests that you'll probably never actually implement yourself, this show is for you." — Shannon Connellan, UK Editor

Starring: Meghan Markle, Mindy Kaling, Roy Choi, Alice Walters, Daniel Martin

How to watch: With Love, Meghan is now streaming on Netflix.

8. Picture This

Simon Ashley first captured our hearts as Kathani "Kate" Sharma, the fiery "old maid" of Bridgerton Season 2. Now, she's taking the lead in a modern rom-com about that dives into the culture clash of British-Indian women in the UK. But there's still shades of Austen's marriage market!

Recovering from the breakup of her first love, aspiring photographer Pia (Ashley) is building her professional life. However, as her younger sister readies to wed, their mother's focus shifts to getting Pia hitched fast. Adding more pressure, a cheery guru insists that Pia is destined to meet her one-and-only in one of her next five dates. so who will it be? Full of energy, but lacking the wit of British rom-coms like Bridgerton, Bridget Jones, or anything Richard Curtis-created, Picture This has its moments, but falls far short of being a diamond. — K.P.

Starring: Simone Ashley, Anoushka Chadha, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, and Luke Fetherston

How to watch: Picture This premieres on Prime Video on March 6.

7. Rumours

Seeking something bizarre and cerebral? Then you won't want to miss this trippy comedy from directors Guy Maddin, Evan Johnson, and Galen Johnson.

Set at the G7 summit, where the leaders of first world nations gather to discuss the world's greatest problems, a motley crew of politicians fumble for words as they encounter an uncanny opposition. Bog bodies, a giant brain in the woods, and an inexplicable crisis demand these people in power swallow their own issues (like so much wine) and concoct a plan. But what follows is less CSPAN and much more Tales from the Crypt.

In my review out of the Toronto International Film Festival, I wrote of Rumours, "This surreally strange satire is a terrifically wild ride, fueled by the game performances from a charismatic cast and the deranged creatures into which they collide. Simply put, Rumours is a bonkers blast." — K.P.

Starring: Cate Blanchett, Charles Dance, Roy Dupuis, Denis Ménochet, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Rolando Ravello, Takehiro Hira, Zlatko Burić, and Alicia Vikander

How to watch: Rumours is now streaming on Paramount+.

6. Deli Boys

Deli Boys centers on pampered Pakistani American brothers Raj (Saagar Shaikh) and Mir (Asif Ali), who get the shock of a lifetime when they learn their recently deceased father wasn't just a convenience store mogul — he was also a criminal mastermind. Now, having lost everything, Raj and Mir must process their father's double life and take up his mantle. Their survival depends on it.

Deli Boys' criminal hijinks are an absolute blast, but it's the familial relationship between Raj, Mir, and the badass Lucky Auntie (Poorna Jagannathan) that really makes this comedy tick. Mir's uptightness contrasts nicely with Raj's laidback stoner energy, and it's a delight to watch Lucky putting them in their place time and again. If you've seen Jagannathan crush it as Devi's mother Nalini in Never Have I Ever, get ready to appreciate a new, ruthlessly fun turn from her. — Belen Edwards, Entertainment Reporter

Starring: Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, Poorna Jagannathan, Alfie Fuller, and Brian George

How to watch: Deli Boys is now streaming on Hulu.

5. How to Have Sex

Molly Manning Walker's directorial debut is not an easy watch, but it's worth it. A frank, authentic, and superbly performed film about consent and the sexual knowledge gap affecting young people, How to Have Sex blew film festival audiences away. Teens Tara (Mia McKenna-Bruce), Em (Enva Lewis), and Skye (Lara Peake) head to the coastal town of Malia, Greece, for a week of partying after finishing high school, and the pressure is sky-high for the girls to have their first sexual experiences. The film navigates these experiences with respect and honesty, and an extraordinary performance by McKenna-Bruce leaves a lasting impact.

As I wrote in my review, "How to Have Sex isn't the first teen film to examine these experiences of sexual assault and consent by any means, but Walker brings a brutal honesty and frankness that sets the film apart. Through superb scripting and performances, the film acknowledges how male violence is normalised or brushed aside..." — S.C.

Starring: Mia McKenna-Bruce, Lara Peake, Samuel Bottomley, Shaun Thomas, Enva Lewis, and Laura Ambler

How to watch: How to Have Sex is now streaming on Netflix.

4. Heretic

Released in 2024, Heretic is a thrilling foray into talkative horror from writer-directors Scott Beck and Bryan Woods (A Quiet Place, 65).

Hugh Grant stars as Mr. Reed, a man who's trapped two young Mormon missionaries (Yellowjackets' Sophie Thatcher and The Fabelmans' Chloe East) in his tricked-out house of horrors. He claims that all he wants is a spirited debate about theology, but his methods — like the aforementioned trapping of women — leave much to be desired. Heretic's religious talking points can be a tad surface level, but Grant still sells the hell out them with a performance that takes the charm of any of his famed rom-com roles and flips it on its head. We may never watch Notting Hill the same way again.*B.E.

Starring: Hugh Grant, Sophie Thatcher, and Chloe East

How to watch: Heretic comes to Max on March 7.

SEE ALSO: The 22 best horror movies of 2024, and where to watch them 3. The Gutter

Need a laugh? Look to The Gutter, a sensationally funny sports comedy from brothers Isaiah Lester and Yassir Lester.

Shameik Moore stars as an underdog who's looking to make his mark in the pro-bowling lane with the help of a drunken mentor (D'Arcy Carden). But to be a champion, he'll need to best a ruthless legend played by Susan Sarandon. In my review of The Gutter out of SXSW 2024, I praised the film for being "the right kind of dumb," cheering, "I can't remember the last time a comedy this stupid was so smart in its jokes. The Gutter is the kind of comedy that ...doesn't play it safe. Sure, not every joke lands and some do spark gasps alongside giggles. But the Lesters have strategically stuffed in so many goofy gags and such cleverly cast comedic performers that from the first frame to the last, The Gutter is a winner." — K.P.

Starring: Shameik Moore, D'Arcy Carden, Paul Reiser, and Susan Sarandon

How to watch: The Gutter is now streaming on Hulu.

2. Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror Max Schreck stars as Nosferatu in the 1922 silent movie directed by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau. Credit: Photo by ullstein bild / ullstein bild via Getty Images

Shudder is a streaming platform dedicated to horror in all forms. And in March, the subscription service is offering two of the most influential horror movies ever made: The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror.

If you went feral for Robert Eggers' 2024 re-imagining of Nosferatu, you'll want to see the 1922 film that inspired it. (Admittedly by recklessly ripping off Dracula so hard Bram Stoker's widow almost lawsuited it out of print, but bygones!)

SEE ALSO: Willem Dafoe and Robert Eggers reveal their inspirations for 'Nosferatu'. It goes deeper than you may think.

Artistic theft aside, F. W. Murnau made the vampire his own with this silent film, which boasts an unforgettable German Expressionism aesthetic of slinking shadows and Max Schreck as the iconic long-clawed fiend. See the century-old film that spawned a subgenre that's still got bite. — K.P.

Starring: Max Schreck, Gustav von Wangenheim, Greta Schröder, and Alexander Granach

How to watch: Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror comes to Shudder on March 8.

1. Daredevil: Born Again

Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) bursts back onto our screens in Daredevil: Born Again, a soft reboot of Netflix's Daredevil. This time around, a tragic incident has caused Matt to hang up the Daredevil mask once and for all. But as his enemy Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) rises to power as New York City's new mayor, how long will it be until Matt returns to the vigilante life?

SEE ALSO: 'Daredevil: Born Again' makes me want to watch the Netflix series: Review

As someone who never watched the original Daredevil, Daredevil: Born Again still managed to suck me right in and convince me to bring Daredevil to the top of my watch list. Fans of the first series may need time to process the early losses of some key characters, but there's still lots to enjoy as Daredevil: Born Again gets cooking. As I wrote in my review, "Daredevil: Born Again stakes its claim as one of the MCU's strongest TV entries, thanks in no small part to Cox's work and some exceptionally gnarly fights." — B.E.

Starring: Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer, and Jon Bernthal

How to watch: Daredevil: Born Again is now streaming on Disney+.

Why are there no iPhones in Severance?

Mashable - 10 hours 21 min ago

In February 2020, Rian Johnson revealed a Hollywood secret that threatened to spoil every mystery movie you'll ever watch. Speaking to Vanity Fair in a video breaking down his latest film, the director of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Looper divulged a subtle clue hidden in his twisty new whodunit, Knives Out.

"Apple, they let you use iPhones in movies, but — and this is very pivotal — if you're ever watching a mystery movie, bad guys cannot have iPhones on camera," Johnson said. "Every single filmmaker who has a bad guy in their movie that's supposed to be a secret wants to murder me right now."

In the years since, Johnson's quote has become a decoder ring of sorts for eagle-eyed movie and TV fans. Not sure if a character is good or evil? Wait for the camera to show you their smartphone and you'll have your answer. His own movie bears this out, with the murderous Chris Evans being one of the only Knives Out characters sending green bubbles to the group chat. This rule seemingly even predates the iPhone — back in 2002, WIRED pointed out that the heroes on 24 all use Mac computers, while the terrorists were stuck with PCs.

This brings us to Severance, an Apple TV+ show so chock-full of mysteries that we don't even know what state it takes place in (more on that in a bit), let alone who's a hero and who's a villain. So when protagonist Mark Scout (Adam Scott) was spotted holding an Android phone, it felt like a huge break in the case. Was our leading man actually a secret baddie? However, a closer look at the many smartphones in Severance reveals something far stranger: There are absolutely zero iPhones in Apple's hit sci-fi show.

SEE ALSO: The cast of 'Severance' on getting lost in the ever-expanding hallways of Lumon

The reason why Apple's products are totally absent from the show is unclear, but what this absence reveals is perhaps even more interesting than one spoilery Easter egg could ever be. Instead, the choice to remove iPhones from the world of Severance gives us a window into the show's unique approach to world-building and how it's used to create a series unlike anything else on TV.

It's worth noting that not everyone in Severance owns a smartphone, Apple or otherwise. In Season 2, Irving (one of Mark's severed colleagues played by John Turturro) is seen making a call from a pay phone — remember those? And back in Season 1, Mark's former coworker Petey (Yul Vazquez) shows up at his house with a flip phone, which some fans identified as a modern "dumbphone" called the Easyfone Prime-A1

However, smartphones as we know them do exist in the show's universe. Mark's unbearable brother-in-law Ricken (Michael Chernus) is shown using a generic Android-style device in Season 1, and we've also seen Mark wielding a similar gadget. When he's working on the Severed Floor, Mark's boss Seth Milchick (Tramell Tillman) carries a touchscreen satellite phone reminiscent of the Android-powered Thuraya X5 Touch (presumably so he can get a signal from within the company's top-secret underground offices).

So if it's clear that smartphones exist in Severance's world, then why can't there be iPhones? We reached out to Apple TV+ for comment, but the company wasn't able to provide an answer in time for publication. However, we have a few theories of our own.

What does it mean that Apple TV+'s hit show has no iPhones?

The first, and more enticing, theory is that the creators of Severance purposefully removed all iPhones from their sci-fi universe to obscure the truth from its audience. Apple is well aware that we know about its iPhone-villain rule, so it makes sense that a hit Apple TV+ show would be cautious not to give away any secrets by blindly following that very rule. If Mark (or, god forbid, Milchick) had an iPhone, it might give away the goat (pun very much intended).

The second, more likely theory is that the smartphones in Severance are designed to reinforce a larger point: that the show takes place in a world familiar but eerily different from our own. Every little detail seems designed to remind audiences that the story is set in a funhouse mirror reflection of our own reality, right down to the retro-futuristic computers that Mark and his coworkers use for their microdata refinement. One Season 1 screenshot shared on Reddit even reveals that the story takes place in the town of Kier, PE. That's right, Severance created its own fictional state, though the same screenshot also includes a reference to the real-life city of Boston.

(Notably, another moment from Season 1 that's been dissected on Reddit is a shot of Mark's license plate, which reveals he was born in 1978 and dates the license to 2020. So while Severance may not take place in our reality, it does take place at around the same time.)

It's also worth noting that Severance isn't the only alternate-reality sci-fi show on Apple TV+ forced to deal with similar issues. The critically acclaimed (if significantly less popular) For All Mankind began as an alternate history about a world where the U.S.S.R. beat America to the Moon and has since leapt forward into a dramatically different 21st Century where technology and space exploration advanced much more rapidly — including smartphones.

In 2022, the show's third season, which takes place in an alternate version of the early ‘90s, featured a video phone designed to resemble Apple's Newton devices. For old-school technology geeks, it made for a fascinating look into a parallel reality where Steve Jobs never killed off the Newton product line. The iPhone may not exist in For All Mankind (at least not yet), but something just as interesting has taken its place.

Tweet may have been deleted

As for Severance, while the show's total lack of iPhones raises plenty of questions, we're hesitant to read too deeply into this one minor detail, at least for now. After all, as many have pointed out, the iPhone-villain rule is really more of a suggestion. For example, the guy in John Wick who kills the hero's dog uses an iPhone — and it doesn't get more evil than that.

Even Rian Johnson has poked fun at the rule. In his Knives Out sequel, Glass Onion, one line of dialogue reveals that the movie's ultimate villain doesn't have a phone at all. Meanwhile, in the Oscar–winning class drama Parasite, director Bong Joon Ho ignores Apple's rule entirely. Instead, Bong gives his rich characters iPhones and his poor characters Androids, forcing the audience to figure out for themselves who's the hero and who's the villain.

Spoiler alert: In Parasite, the villain is capitalism. And, hey, maybe the same goes for Severance, too.

Severance Season 2 is now streaming on AppleTV+, with new episodes every Friday.

Lady Gaga sing-narrates the lives of the SNL cast in silly skit

Mashable - 10 hours 22 min ago

Lady Gaga is hosting and performing on SNL this week, but first she needs to follow her process.

In the skit above, that includes sitting behind-the-scenes on her piano and sing-narrating everything the cast members are doing and saying to each other.

It makes for some strange lyrics, but at least Lady Gaga's voice makes everything sound good.

And we've made singling it out all the easier by highlighting the most hilarious below.

Here are the funniest movies now streaming on Netflix.

25. Logan Lucky Adam Driver, Channing Tatum, and Daniel Craig are mid-heist in "Logan Lucky." Credit: Trans-Radial Pictures / Kobal / Shutterstock.com

Returning to his love of a wacky heist, Ocean's Eleven helmer Steven Soderbergh delivers fresh thrills and laughs with this 2017 gem, which is absolutely stacked with a dazzling cast.

Channing Tatum and Adam Driver star as the Logan brothers, who come from a family supposedly cursed to baffling misfortune. But could their fate be turning when older brother Jimmy (Tatum) concocts a convoluted scheme to steal millions from a bustling race speedway during their biggest event of the year? Younger, one-armed brother Clyde (Driver) will be his right-hand man. Their spunky hair-stylist sister Mellie (Riley Keough) will be their getaway driver. Now all they need is to break out the infamous safecracker Joe Bang (Daniel Craig with a daffily entertaining Southern accent), and bring on his Bible-thumping brothers (Brian Gleeson and Jack Quaid) as backup. Also starring are Katie Holmes, Dwight Yoakam, Sebastian Stan, Seth MacFarlane, and Hilary Swank. Divulging anything more about this Southern-fried romp would be to spoil the fun. — Kristy Puchko, Entertainment Editor

Eddie Murphy returns as wise-cracking Detroit police officer Axel Foley. 30 years after Beverly Hills Cop III, this sensational sequel sees Foley returning to Los Angeles to fight a new foe, reunite with old friends, and reconnect with his estranged daughter.

Reprising their supporting roles are Beverly Hills Cop co-stars John Ashton, Judge Reinhold, Paul Reiser, and Bronson Pinchot. New to the crew is Taylour Paige as Axel's hard-headed daughter, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a local ally, Nasim Pedrad as a flustered real estate agent, and Kevin Bacon as a smirking antagonist. The sparks will fly. The punchlines hit powerfully. The soundtrack is fire. And just like that, the heat is back on! — K.P.

23. Between Two Ferns: The Movie Credit: Adam Rose / Netflix

Zach Galifianakis' awkward celebrity interview web series Between Two Ferns might not seem like fodder for a full-length movie, but Between Two Ferns: The Movie goes double meta by presenting his success on Funny or Die as an insult to the actor's intention to host a "serious" interview show. Galifianakis the character sets off to correct the assumption that his original show is a joke by interviewing even more celebrities, like John Cho, Keanu Reeves, Gal Gadot, Tiffany Haddish, and more. — Alexis Nedd, Senior Entertainment Reporter

22. Do Revenge Credit: Netflix

Looking for a revenge flick that pays tribute to teen classics like Mean Girls, Heathers, Cruel Intentions, and more? Then check out Do Revenge, a dark comedy sure to join the canon of iconic high school movies. Students Drea (Camila Mendes) and Eleanor (Maya Hawke) couldn't be more different... apart from the fact that both have major bones to pick with people who ruined their reputations. They decide to team up and execute one another's revenge plans, which leads down a winding road of morally dubious choices, snappy one-liners, and excellent outfits.

Mendes and Hawke have great chemistry, but it's Sophie Turner who damn near steals the show in a bit part that simply must be seen to be believed.*Belen Edwards, Entertainment Reporter

What if the one who got away got a second chance? Back in the day, Sasha and Marcus were tight as a slap bracelet. But one fumbled night in a sweaty backseat seemed to shatter their future together.

Fifteen years later, she's a world-renowned chef and he's — well — he's working for his dad's HVAC business and playing with his band on the side. Still, fate arranges for them to reconnect, which could mean Marcus (Randall Park) has a shot to show Sasha (Ali Wong) how he feels. Comedy ensues as the stakes get high when Keanu Reeves crashes the party, being all weird and hot and having the audacity to be Keanu Reeves! This Nahnatchka Khan-helmed laffer also boasts appearances by James Saito, Charlyne Yi, Karan Soni, Daniel Dae Kim, and Michelle Buteau.*K.P.

Chronicling the true story of late comedian Rudy Ray Moore — also known as Dolemite — this Eddie Murphy vehicle is worth every minute of viewing.

An outrageous showbiz comedy, Dolemite Is My Name is at once a poignant look at the life of an underdog and an unbelievably good time. With supporting performances by Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Wesley Snipes, Craig Robinson, and more, this biopic offers more beat-for-beat joy than many of its fictional counterparts. 19. The Polka King Credit: Netflix

Sometimes true crime can lead to some pitch-perfect dark comedy. This is the case for this outrageous offering, which stars Jack Black as infamous scammer/local celebrity Jan Lewan. Black brings all the rock star panache you need to understand how Lewan could be so beguiling to the Pennsylvanian retirees who surrendered their savings to the self-proclaimed Polka King.

Screenwriters Maya Forbes and Wallace Wolodarsky gave this story of fraud and showmanship shape. But they wisely trusted in the local flair of the terrific 2009 documentary The Man Who Would Be Polka King to provide some of the wildest lines of dialogue. Plucking directly from interviews with the friends, family, and victims of Jan Lewan, this comedy feels stranger than fiction but is jaw-droppingly real. Salty supporting turns from Jenny Slate, Jacki Weaver, and Jason Schwartzman bring added fun.* — K.P.

Sony Pictures Animation has given audiences such daring and dynamic animated movies as Surf's Up, Hotel Transylvania, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. This zany 2021 release centers on a family who's battling back the robo-apocalypse with togetherness, internet savviness, and a wall-eyed pug named Monchi (voiced by social media icon Doug the Pug).

The Mitchells' adventure into chaos begins when daughter Katie (Abbi Jacobson) is poised to go off to college. Desperate for one last family-unifying road trip, her dad (Danny McBride) piles the whole family into his beater of a vehicle, unknowingly charting a fateful route into heroics. Co-directors Mike Rianda and Jeff Rowe infuse Katie's excitable perspective throughout the film by working in internet memes, social media-style reactions, and blitz of bonkers visuals. It’s a bold move that might alienate some viewers but has largely won the acclaim of critics and kiddos.*K.P.

17. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery Credit: Netflix

Writer/director Rian Johnson follows up his critically heralded whodunnit with a sequel that's even more explosive than Knives Out. Southern gentleman/detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is back, drawling deductions and whipping out witticisms, much to the chagrin of a group of wealthy and conniving friends.

It was supposed to be a murder mystery weekend where homicide was just a game. But when tech scion Miles Bron (Edward Norton) brings together his closest friends and worst enemy, real blood will be spilled, and the game is afoot! Joining in on the comically chaotic fun are Kate Hudson, Janelle Monáe, Dave Bautista, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., and Jessica Henwick. — K.P.

The Forty-Year-Old Version isn’t just any film about a struggling New York artist, but one about a Black female playwright who’s continually held back from creating something authentic to her perspective. Radha Blank's autobiographical directorial debut, which she also wrote, produced, and stars in, is a searing, funny, and unabashedly honest look at the compromises Black creatives are pushed to make in a world dominated by whiteness.

A teacher approaching her 40th birthday, Radha (Blank) gets the chance to produce one of her plays — only after she refuses to write a slave musical. But forced to change her vision to appease white audiences, Radha considers a totally different medium to express herself: becoming a rapper. The Forty-Year-Old Version may be one of the most slept-on Netflix originals, and it’s a shame we've yet to see another film from Blank since, itself an indictment of an industry that fails to continually platform raw and honest Black storytelling.* — Oliver Whitney, Freelance Contributor

Want a movie that's got excitement, comedy, a scorching message about the evils of gentrification, and is a kid-friendly romp? Then take a bite out of Vampires vs. the Bronx.

Oz Rodriguez's PG-13 horror-comedy centers on Afro-Latino teens who recognize that a flurry of missing person posters and an influx of rich white folks with tote bags means bad news for the neighborhood. Together, they team up Monster Squad-style to take down the bloodsuckers and save their community. With a sharp wit, a warm heart, a rich sense of atmosphere, and an equal appreciation for the Blade movies and '80s Amblin, Vampires vs. the Bronx is an easy watch full of rewards.*K.P.

For a reasonable fee, these fearless Breaker Upperers will impersonate police officers, play pregnant, or even fake your death to help you ghost an ex. Whatever the shenanigans, van Beek and Sami sparkle. Booming with wild humor and big heart, this comedy is guaranteed to leave you cackling.* — K.P.

13. Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga Credit: John Wilson / Netflix

With its reputation for wacky musical numbers, the Eurovision Song Contest is ripe for parody. Luckily for Eurovision lovers, the contest gets the send-up it deserves in this gloriously goofy flick starring Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams. They play the Icelandic musical duo Fire Saga, who find themselves in the Eurovision spotlight. There, they discover that the famed competition is a world of cutthroat competitors, glitzy costumes, and many, many bops.

Eurovision Song Contest is full of larger-than-life characters and ridiculous humor, but it's also teeming with Eurovision references that will have fans laughing and cheering. For every "Jaja Ding Dong," there's a joyful Song-A-Long — and both are great! Pair all that with pitch-perfect comedic performances from Ferrell and McAdams, and you have a comedy that will both have you in stitches and win your heart. (Best of all, if you weren't a Eurovision fanatic before seeing this movie, you'll definitely be one by the time it ends.)*B.E.

12. Hit Man

Richard Linklater and Glen Powell reunite for Hit Man, a rom-com that is killer in all sense of the word.

Powell plays Gary Johnson, a college professor whose side gig as an undercover hit man leads to an unexpected meet-cute with would-be client Madison (Andor's Adria Arjona). The pair's connection (and electrifying chemistry) sparks a delightful game of false identities, reinvention, and twisted love that toggles between hilarious, thrilling, and sexy at a moment's notice. Oh, who am I kidding; sometimes it's all three at once!*Belen Edwards, Entertainment Reporter

11. Barbie

Greta Gerwig was fresh off of her Little Women success when she took on this 2023 project about the world's most iconic doll. Gerwig, who co-wrote the script with frequent creative collaborator and husband Noah Baumbach, ended up with yet another smash hit on her hands, raking in award noms and massive box office earnings — all while conducting the sweetest and most exhausting-seeming global press tour ever.

Margot Robbie slips into the titular role like a perfectly molded pink pump, while Ryan Gosling offers hilarious (and also Oscar–nominated!) support as her confusedly devoted Ken. As Barbie stumbles into the real world and charts a course toward Pinocchio-esque self-actualization, Gerwig adds oddness and effervescence to every corner of day-glo Barbieland – raise your hand if you're partial to Weird Barbie, played with deranged glee by Kate McKinnon. But it's not all goofball antics and beach-off musical numbers; the feminist, humanist message burns bright for such an old-fashioned little plaything. — Jason Adams, Entertainment Reporter

10. Notting Hill

Rom-coms are deceptively difficult to get right, so why not just steal the plot from a classic, update it to modern times with a pair of big-league charmers in the lead roles, and hope for the best? That formula doesn't always work, but when it does, you get something like Roger Michell's Notting Hill. Richard Curtis' script riffs on the plot of Roman Holiday, but instead of Audrey Hepburn as a princess slumming it up around town with a journalist played by Gregory Peck, here we've got a charismatic American movie star (Julia Roberts) who meets-cute in London with a local floppy-haired bookshop owner played by Hugh Grant.

The movie follows the rom-com playbook to a tee — there's even a supercharged chase to the airport at the end! — but Roberts and Grant really have marvelous chemistry, and Michell surrounds them with a rogue's gallery of British character actors having a hoot. (Rhys Ifans as Grant's flatmate is a particular standout.) In the end, we're all just girls standing in front of boys asking them to love us! — J.A.

9. Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl Credit: Netflix

Our pals Wallace the inventor and his loyal pup Gromit have been running around for nearly four cracking decades now, but this their latest adventure (and only their second feature-length film, after 2005's The Curse of the Were-Rabbit) proves they've lost not a whit of their vim and verve. Nominated for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl happily proves to be yet another gut-busting bit of British whimsy from Aardman Animation head Nick Park and his team of clay-playing creatives.

Vengeance Most Fowl sees our cheese-loving duo facing down a familiar foe – the diabolical penguin mastermind Feathers McGraw, who was last seen being sent off to imprisonment in the City Zoo in the classic 1993 short The Wrong Trousers. Hacking into Wallace's latest invention, a garden gnome robot named Norbot that he's created to do all of the yardwork, Feathers builds himself an army of killer gnomes all programmed to do his bidding. And he wants nothing more than to bid adieu to his nemesis Wallace! — J.A.

8. No Hard Feelings

The raunchy teen comedies of the aughts get an update with this 2023 Jennifer Lawrence comedy, which sets its sights on the cultural differences between Millennials and Gen Z to very funny and surprisingly touching effect. Lawrence plays a down-on-her-luck bartender in Montauk who agrees to date and have sex with a rich couple's 19-year-old son who's not doing well with the opposite sex at all. That problematic premise, which wouldn't have felt out of place in a Porky's movie 40 years ago, turns out to be a bit of a Trojan horse, slipping in a sly, sweet friendship story between the two instead. — J.A

How to watch: No Hard Feelings is now streaming on Netflix.

7. Shiva Baby

Some people find this 2020 cringe comedy from writer-director Emma Seligman to be so stressful that it stops being a comedy altogether, to which we give a hearty boo. Sure, it's one of the most claustrophobic experiences you can have outside of an escape room that's caught on fire, but Rachel Sennott is a comic genius who spins every moment of horror into gold!

Before the two teamed up again in 2023 for the LOL-worthy Bottoms, Seligman and Sennott gave us this small-scale story of college student Danielle who is attending a Jewish funeral reception where absolutely everything goes wrong. Sitting shiva is never a party, but Danielle's parents (a brilliantly funny Fred Melamed and Polly Draper) are hard on her case. Then her ex-girlfriend Maya (an equally funny Molly Gordon) shows up, and that's awkward. What else could go wrong? Glad you asked! Danielle's secret side gig as a sugar baby is jeopardized when her main client (Danny Deferrari) shows up with his shiksa wife and their newborn baby. Now throw all of this drama into the smallest three rooms you can imagine, all stuffed with the loudest people eating the driest crackers you have ever seen, and enjoy! — J.A.

How to watch: Shiva Baby is now streaming on Netflix.

6. Saturday Night Credit: Hopper Stone / Sony Pictures Entertainment

Unjustly overlooked at release in the fall of 2024, this frantically funny romp from Juno and Young Adult director Jason Reitman details the 90-minute lead-up to the very first episode of Saturday Night Live in October of 1975. The ensemble cast is packed, with Cory Michael Smith as Chevy Chase, Ella Hunt as Gilda Radner, Dylan O'Brien as Dan Aykroyd, Emily Fairn as Laraine Newman, Matt Wood as John Belushi, Lamorne Morris as Garrett Morris, and Kim Matula as Jane Curtin.

Add Gabriel Labelle as Lorne Michaels, the man with the wild and crazy plan himself, and the fact that this movie managed to only be 90 minutes long with all of these characters (plus a dozen more I don't even have room to list) is a real miracle in itself. Plenty of people do get shafted time-wise — notably, most of the women, which is pretty crappy the show's own track record shafting women back in the day — but Saturday Night definitely captures the chaos and hilarious mayhem that Michaels managed to funnel into a comedy revolution. — J.A.

5. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves

Straddling the line between a faithfulness to the decades-old RPG and introducing mainstream audiences to its world with a deft touch was always a big ask, but co-directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (who also share writing credits with Michael Gilio) did better than anybody expected to be possible with this 2023 adaptation. Starring Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Sophia Lillis, and Justice Smith as a band of merry wizards and what-nots hunting down an ancient relic, Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is très goofy, but lovingly so. It's honestly a very good time at the movies!

Unfortunately, shifting release dates and other factors led D&D to kinda bomb at the box office. But now that the movie has landed on Netflix, our communal chance to right this infernal wrong has arrived. Let's all slip into our wizarding robes and watch this movie dozens of times, spread the word to all of our friends, and roll the eight-sided die on an improbable sequel! — J.A.

4. Between the Temples

Filmmaker Nathan Silver has been churning out extremely oddball indie films for the past 15 years without a whole lot of fanfare, but he finally found a sliver of mainstream attention in 2024 with Between the Temples, a tender and relatively straightforward (for him) comedy starring the one-of-a-kind twosome of Jason Schwartzman and Carol Kane. Schwartzman plays Ben, a recently widowed cantor at the local synagogue, while Kane plays his former elementary school music teacher Carla, who comes to him after deciding she wants to have the bat mitzvah she didn't get to have as a child. The two spark, their families clash, and big life lessons are learned. And if you could bottle the off-kilter chemistry between these supreme character actors, you'd have magic, which is just what this movie, singular and sweet, is. — J.A.

How to watch: Between the Temples is now streaming on Netflix.

3. Kicking and Screaming

Before Frances went Ha or there were any Marriage Stories to tell, writer/director Noah Baumbach made his name with this 1995 post-collegiate comedy starring a who's who of '90s indie icons, including Josh Hamilton, Eric Stoltz, Catherine Keener, Parker Posey, and Chris Eigeman. And it's a very '90s story of life-after-graduation ennui that Baumbach tells too, with everybody paralyzed by decision and the nostalgia for every moment already suffocating them.

There were so many little movies like this that came tumbling out of nowhere at this time, and we didn't know how good we had it — small character studies full of acidic humor as far as the eye could see! This one lands somewhere between the dry archness of Whit Stillman and the sloppy chaos of early David O. Russell; it's a perfectly lovely little time capsule.  — J.A.

How to watch: Kicking and Screaming is now streaming on Netflix.

2. Kneecap Credit: Helen Sloan / Sony Pictures Classics

Like 8 Mile with way more vowels, Kneecap tells the true life story of the titular band while starring the band members as themselves. The hip-hop trio of Liam Óg "Mo Chara" Ó Hannaidh, Naoise "Móglaí Bap" Ó Cairealláin, and JJ "DJ Próvaí" Ó Dochartaigh portray their own rise from rough-and-tumble beginnings in West Belfast to their place atop the Irish charts, which stands out since they rapped in the Irish language, which was well out of favor at the time having been usurped by the English colonizers. Their music rises on the tide of the language's popular reclamation, but Kneecap is hardly a linguistics lesson – it's a hilarious and wildly entertaining drug-fueled riot of anarchic artistic expression. Oh, and Michael Fassbender plays Naoise's da, which I guess makes him the Kim Basinger of this situation?  — J.A.

How to watch: Kneecap is now streaming on Netflix.

1. Cunk on Life

Comedian Diane Morgan has been gifting the world with her character of Philomena Cunk for a glorious decade and a half now. A dimwitted investigative journalist who butt heads with the real-world leading minds on each subject, Cunk proved to be a one-woman feast of absolute nonsense. The character Cunk started getting her own specials in 2016 with Cunk on Christmas, followed by Cunk on Britain and the epic globe-trotting mockumentary series Cunk on Earth (also streaming on Netflix).

Morgan's expanded her reach all the way to Cunk on Life, her latest side-splitter that tries to uncover the very meaning of existence itself across its humble 71-minute runtime. Does Cunk succeed? Well, Cunk definitely thinks she does, every damn time. But if not, at least we'll get to hear some Technotronic in the process, dammit! — J.A.

Some very detailed foldable iPhone predictions just dropped, and you wont like the price

Mashable - 10 hours 25 min ago

Yes, we've seen numerous rumors about a foldable iPhone in the past couple of years, but this one hits different.

First, it comes from the almost-always reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who shared his latest predictions in a blog post on Thursday. The foldable iPhone, he writes, is likely to be finalized in late 2025 with sales starting in the last quarter of 2026.

But what makes this report interesting is the amount of detail Kuo is sharing, indicating that the foldable iPhone may actually be real and not just a myth.

SEE ALSO: Apple iPhone 16e review: Battery life king

According to Kuo, the foldable Apple iPhone will have a "book-style design," which presumably means it'll be horizontally folding outwards just like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series. It will reportedly have a 7.8-inch, crease-free inner display, and a 5.5-inch outer display, though Kuo says all the measurements are approximate. The phone is also reported to have a dual rear camera, and an additional selfie camera that will be available both when the phone is folded and unfolded.

Featured Video For You The Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold tech and specs

The foldable iPhone is also said be 9 to 9.5 millimeters thick when folded, and 4.5 to 4.8 millimeters thick when unfolded. In comparison, Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 6 is quite a bit thicker, measuring 12.1 millimeters when folded and and 5.6 millimeters when unfolded.

Tweet may have been deleted

For the hinge, Apple will reportedly use a combination of stainless steel and titanium alloy, while the casing will be made of titanium (just like the current iPhone 16 Pro models). On the side, the phone will have a Touch ID button (likely similar to the one on the 2021 version of the iPad mini)

Finally, the phone will use the same high-density battery cells as the upcoming super-thin iPhone 17; with that phone still being in the realm of rumor, we don't really know much about those cells at the moment.

None of this is set in stone, as Kuo says that final specs will be "locked" in the second quarter of 2025.

With regards to timing, the analyst even goes so far as to predict the next generation of the foldable iPhone, which should enter mass production in the second half of 2027.

About that price. Kuo claims that the first-gen foldable iPhone will retail "above $2,000 and $2,500" — it's unclear what this means, but presumably it could refer to different variants of the device. Despite that hefty price, the analyst predicts that the foldable iPhone will sell well, with shipments reaching 3-5 million units in 2026.

When it comes to premium audio, Sennheiser is one of those brands that audiophiles swear by. Usually, that kind of quality comes with a hefty price tag, but today, Amazon has slashed the price of Sennheiser Accentum wireless Bluetooth headphones to just $99.99, 50% off their usual price of $199.95. If you’ve been looking for a high-quality pair of noise-canceling headphones without wrecking your budget, this deal sells itself.

So, what makes the Accentum worth your money? Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) lets you fully immerse yourself in your music by blocking out background noise. But if you need to stay aware of your surroundings, Transparency Mode lets external sounds in with a simple toggle.

SEE ALSO: The roborock Qrevo Edge robot vacuum is down to its lowest-ever price

On the audio side, Sennheiser’s HD stereo sound delivers a rich, well-balanced listening experience. You can even tweak the EQ to match your preferences. Fancy extra bass or crisp highs, built-in five-band equalizer, and customizable sound modes? These bad boy cans let you perfectly fine-tune your audio.

One of the biggest selling points is battery life, a staggering 50 hours on a single charge. That’s more than enough to get you through multiple workdays, long-haul flights, or an entire weekend of binge listening. And if you’re in a hurry, fast charging gives you five hours of playback from just a 10-minute charge.

  • Price: $99.95 $199.95

  • Retailer: Amazon

  • Noise Cancelling: Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling (ANC)

  • Sound Mode: HD Stereo with customizable EQ

  • Connectivity: Bluetooth, optional USB-A/USB-C dongle

  • Battery Life: Up to 50 hours

  • Fast Charging: Yes (5 hours of playback from 10-minute charge)

  • Microphone: Yes (clear voice pick-up for calls)

  • Color Options: Black Copper, Black, White

  • Smart Features: Transparency Mode, on-device controls

For those who want seamless device pairing, the ACCENTUM headphones support Bluetooth connectivity with both PC and Mac, and there’s even an optional USB-A/USB-C dongle for a more stable wireless connection with computers. On-device controls let you manage music and calls effortlessly; no need to reach for your phone every time you need to pause or skip a track.

At under $100, this deal is ridiculous for a pair of high-end ANC headphones from a reputable brand like Sennheiser. If you’re looking for crystal-clear sound, long battery life, and effective noise cancellation, grab this deal while it lasts.

I found Beats Studio Pro headphones for $150 off at Best Buy

Mashable - 10 hours 47 min ago

SAVE $150: As of March 6, Beats Studio Pro wireless noise-canceling headphones are on sale for $199.99 at Best Buy, down from their regular price of $349.99.

I refuse to pay full price for a good pair of headphones when I know deals like this exist. Right now, Best Buy is offering Beats Studio Pro wireless noise-canceling headphones for just $199.99, a massive $150 discount from their regular price of $349.99. If you’ve been hunting for premium sound without the premium price tag, this might be your sign to grab a pair.

So, what makes these headphones worth considering? For starters, active noise canceling (ANC) continuously adapts to your environment, blocking out distractions so you can stay immersed in your music, podcast, or that true crime audiobook you pretend isn’t keeping you up at night. If you still need some awareness of your surroundings, Transparency Mode lets in external sounds with the press of a button.

On the audio front, Beats didn’t hold back. Dolby Atmos sound ensures a fully immersive experience, while Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking adjusts to your movement and feels like the sound is following you. Deep in a gaming session or just vibing with your favorite playlist? This tech makes everything sound rich and dynamic.

Comfort-wise, the UltraPlush leather ear cushions are designed for long listening sessions without feeling like your head is trapped in a vise. And speaking of long listening sessions, the 40-hour battery life (or 24 hours with ANC on) means you won’t constantly be tethered to a charger. Need a quick power boost? Fast charging gives you four hours of playback from just a 10-minute charge.

  • Price: $199.99 $349.99

  • Retailer: Best Buy

  • Noise Cancelling: Active Noise Cancelling (ANC)

  • Sound Mode: Dolby Atmos

  • Connectivity: Bluetooth, USB-C, 3.5mm audio input

  • Battery Life: Up to 40 hours (24 hours with ANC on)

  • Fast Charging: Yes (4 hours of playback from 10-minute charge)

  • Microphone: Yes (voice-targeting mics for clear calls)

  • Ear Cushion Material: UltraPlush engineered leather

  • Smart Features: Personalized Spatial Audio, Transparency Mode

Another major perk? Unlike some headphones that are clearly optimized for Apple devices, these work seamlessly with both Apple and Android. You’ll get one-touch pairing, deeper ecosystem integration, and multiple connectivity options including USB-C audio and a 3.5mm headphone jack for old-school wired listening.

At under $200, this deal is about as good as it gets for premium ANC headphones. Beats Studio Pro delivers when upgrading your setup, traveling, or wanting to block out the world for a bit.

How to create a custom camera filter on a Samsung Galaxy phone

Mashable - 12 hours 6 min ago

Samsung's phones are well-known for the excellent quality of their cameras. This includes a selection of filters in the Camera app, which allow users to jazz up their snaps by choosing preset adjustments to contrast, saturation, and other such settings.

However, if none of these filters are quite what you're after, Samsung also allows you to create your own custom camera filter based on an image in your camera roll. Simply choose a picture, and your phone will emulate its colour and style in a new camera filter.

Here's how to create and save a custom camera filter on your Samsung phone.

Step 4: Tap the plus symbol (+) next to the filter options.

Step 5: Choose an image from your camera roll to use as the basis for your custom filter.

Credit: Amanda Yeo / Mashable

Step 6: A camera view demonstrating your filter will appear, with your chosen image below it.

Tap and press the camera view to see it without the filter, and release to turn the filter back on. You can tap your chosen image and then drag the corners to redefine the reference area if you would like the filter to only be based on a certain section. You can also tap the filter name to rename your new filter, then select "Rename" to confirm it.

Credit: Amanda Yeo / Mashable

Step 7: Tap "Done" to finalise and save your filter.

Samsung currently doesn't allow you to create a custom filter by manually adjusting settings such as the colour temperature, contrast, and saturation via a slider. There is a way around this though, as you can tweak these settings on a preexisting filter. Simply select the filter you want to edit, tap the value you'd like to change in the bar beneath the filter's name, and drag the arrow to alter it.

The Camera app will save these changes to your filter, so you don't have to readjust it whenever you want to take a new photo. You can also tap the reset button by the filter's name to undo them.

Credit: Amanda Yeo / Mashable

Samsung states that you can create up to 99 of your own filters, which seems like way more than you could ever need or realistically manage. The filter feature doesn't work on all resolution and aspect ratio settings, though. If your filter icon is greyed out, try lowering your camera resolution to fix it.
