Black Friday brought the usual excellent deals, and we saw headphones at record-low prices. As we cross the invisible line into Cyber Monday territory, all of our favorite headphones and earbuds are still on sale. Yes, all of them.
Amazon has the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones down to just $198, while the Apple AirPods Pro fell to a new low price at Walmart and Amazon (they love to stay competitive). And in a Black Friday surprise, Bose dropped the price of its QuietComfort Ultra headphones all the way down to $299, which even caught us by surprise. Prefer Sonos, JBL, Sennheiser, Beats, or Dyson headphones? Yup, they're on sale, too.

Best Cyber Monday headphones deals Opens in a new window Credit: Sony Sony WH-1000XM4 $198.00 at AmazonWhile these headphones hit the market back in 2020, they're still a decent option to pick up, especially if you're looking to spend no more than $200. While they do go on sale throughout the year, they typically drop about $100, making this Black Friday discount especially good. Sure, the newer (and more expensive) Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones are also on sale, but they don't justify the higher price. At least, not while this sale lasts. Plus, the XM4 ear cups fold in, potentially making them a better option for folks who travel frequently.
You can pick these up on sale at Amazon and Best Buy, but Amazon has the better price by a whopping $1.91.

This is not a drill: The AirPods Pro are down to a brand-new record-low price this Cyber Week. In October, Prime Day brought the popular Apple earbuds down to a record-low of $168.99, which dropped lower to $159 last week. With Walmart's second Black Friday kicking off on Nov. 25, the retailer dropped the price of these earbuds down to another new record-low of $154. Amazon initially matched the price, but has since sold out. In other words, if you've been waiting to buy the AirPods Pro, this is a really good time to buy them.

UPDATE: Nov. 28, 2024, 8:47 p.m. EST This story has been updated with the latest deals from Walmart's Black Friday sale.
The best Black Friday TV deals at Walmart Best 55-Inch Deal Samsung 55-inch Q60DB QLED 4K TV $498 at Walmart (save $150) Get Deal Best 65-Inch Deal LG 65-inch B3 Series OLED 4K TV $998 at Walmart (save $301) Get DealTVs being on sale for Black Friday isn't unique to any one retailer. Sure, that's news to no one. The less-known intel is that, while there will be a handful of price-matched deals on identical models at all of the big competing stores, each store also has a certain type of TV that they seem to really hone in on when it comes to Black Friday discounts.
Walmart's wheelhouse is simply the cheapest 4K TV possible at any given size between 50 inches and 75 inches. If you see Amazon and Best Buy plateauing at a certain sale price for a certain size (for instance, maybe the cheapest they're seemingly able to go for a 50-incher is $199.99), it's pretty safe to assume that Walmart will have an option that slightly beats both of those sale prices. This highly competitive vibe is the main reason why TV deals are typically better on Black Friday than on Amazon Prime Day.
SEE ALSO: The best Black Friday deals at Amazon, Target, Best Buy, and WalmartBecause Walmart likes to release its most jaw-dropping TV deals as a handful of pre-meditated doorbusters, more shoppers will be waiting in the wings for the clock to strike a certain time (rather than calmly perusing several pages of TV deals) — which means TVs selling out is more likely and time is of the essence.
One way to make sure you get first dibs on any of Walmart's big Black Friday drops is by becoming a Walmart+ member. Paid Walmart+ members get early access to Walmart deals, often for several hours before the sale officially goes live to the public. Through Dec. 2, new, expired, monthly, and current Walmart+ trial members can sign up for an annual Walmart+ membership for $49 — 50% off the regular $98 a year that Walmart+ typically costs.
Along with this early access, Walmart+ members also get perks like a free Paramount+ subscription; 10 cents per gallon fuel savings at Exxon, Mobil, Walmart, and Murphy; Walmart Cash through Expedia; free shipping from your store; free online shipping with no order minimum; and more.
We're tracking all of Walmart's best TV deals throughout the Black Friday season below and will update the list as new ones drop — or as models sell out. On top of the ultra budget-friendly options we gushed about earlier, Walmart also has some good deals on premium models from Samsung and LG.
Note: Occasionally, a Walmart TV doorbuster will come in the form of a TV that's making its debut at a sale price rather than appearing as a clear-cut dollar discount off of an MSRP. Walmart will tag these drops as a "Special Buy" so shoppers know this is still a great price even if there's no previous list price crossed out to indicate a sale. To get an idea of what that size of TV is going for at other retailers, check out our general coverage of Black Friday TV deals which includes Amazon and Best Buy.

We all know that Black Friday is the best time of year to buy a TV. Where to find those stellar TV deals is less obvious, and for many, a question that boils down to one simple question: Amazon or somewhere else?
While Amazon does have its fair share of stellar Black Friday doorbuster TV deals, we have to be honest: Best Buy and Walmart bring some serious competition in this space. Before pulling the trigger on a cheap TV at Amazon, it's worth checking the selection elsewhere. Of course, Amazon will have the lowest price on its own Fire TVs as well as Fire TVs made by TCL, Toshiba, Hisense, and Insignia. And now that Amazon's Black Friday sale is officially underway, most have dropped to all-time low pricing. In fact, some of those TVs are already low in stock, considering Amazon kicked off its Black Friday sale on Thursday, Nov. 21.
Amazon is a good place to find an affordable 4K TV with a smooth smart TV interface. That's especially true now that Amazon has debuted new versions of its Omni TVs, including its very first mini LED TV. However, you can also find some good deals on premium TVs at Amazon, especially if you've been eyeing Samsung's art TV The Frame or an award-winning LG OLED TV. As of this writing, Amazon has the best prices on these flagship TVs, though only by a few dollars.
SEE ALSO: The best Black Friday streaming deals so far: Peacock, Max, Paramount+, and moreFor the biggest selection of QLED or OLED models, check Best Buy's Black Friday TV deals. It has a bigger selection of large-screen premium options from Samsung, Sony, and LG, and that selection isn't riddled with questionable third-party sellers like Amazon's. And if you're looking on the other end of the pricing spectrum, Walmart is offering the cheapest possible 4K TVs in 2024.
Don't want to price-check TVs across all the different retailers? That's why you've got us. In this guide, we'll curate the best Black Friday Amazon TV deals. We're confident you won't find these TVs at a cheaper price anywhere else.
Best budget Black Friday TV deal at Amazon TCL 65-Inch Class S5 UHD 4K LED Smart Fire TV $349.99 at AmazonHaving covered so many Black Friday events in the past, we can tell you this: TCL is the king of Black Friday doorbuster TV deals. That goes for Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. And while TCL has expanded its lineup in the mid-range and near-premium categories, it still makes budget TVs for the masses. And that's exactly what this is. We won't lie and say this is anything but a basic TV with a basic LED display. However, it's hard to argue with $349.99 for a 65-inch smart TV, and we're not going to try.
Best mid-range Black Friday TV deal at Amazon Opens in a new window Credit: TCL TCL 75-inch Q5 QLED 4K Fire TV $549.99 at AmazonAmazon put its new Mini LED Fire TVs on sale for the first time mere days after announcing them, but that doesn't automatically make those the best deal on a QLED TV at Amazon this Black Friday. We have to give up that prize to this huge 75-inch Hisense TV, which is already ridiculously affordable at full price. Its $549.99 sale price looks even sweeter when compared side-by-side with Amazon's cheapest in-house Omni QLED, which is on sale for $599.99. This TCL gets you 10 more inches of screen for $50 less.
If you need to replace your old, slow TV and are looking for a happy medium between the cheapest possible TV and the fanciest possible TV, then TCL's base-tier QLEDs hit the sweet spot. Even as one of the more basic QLEDs on the market, you'll immediately notice the improved brightness and color of the Q65. The difference comes from a layer of quantum dots laid over the LED backlight, which provides an overall punchier picture that's much better for gaming or watching sports.
Best premium TV deal at Amazon Opens in a new window Credit: Samsung Samsung The Frame 50-Inch 4K QLED TV $848.99 at AmazonYou can buy a lot of amazing TVs on Black Friday, but Samsung's The Frame has a legit claim on being the best TV in the world right now, full stop. Mashable was there when Samsung debuted the new iteration of the famous art TV in New York City. The Frame isn't just a 4K TV with a pristine QLED display; it's also an art gallery for your living room wall. When you're not streaming, The Frame's screen displays classic works of art, contemporary photography, or your own photos. It's also got an AI processor and an incredibly unique "matte display," which makes glare disappear.

If you've been on the internet much in the past few years, you're also well aware that Black Friday doesn't end on Black Friday, and that stampeding into stores isn't really necessary anymore, especially with the rise of Cyber Monday. The same TV deals can be found all weekend long online.
SEE ALSO: Get both Hulu and Disney+ for $2.99 per month for Black FridayThe types of TVs spotlighted for Cyber Monday have shifted, however. The biggest factor when upgrading your TV this year will probably be the newfound affordability of QLED. Over the past few years, QLED TVs have officially gone from "the TV that only the fanciest people you know have" to actually accessible for the average household. Finding a 55-inch QLED under $300 or a 65-inch QLED under $500 during an event like Black Friday isn't hard at all. There are even dupes of iconic TVs like Samsung's The Frame now — TCL and Hisense both have budget-friendly art TV options for several hundred dollars less than The Frame in most sizes.
At any rate, the "best" TV deal for one household won't be the "best" TV deal for another. Rather than jumping between a mess of tabs of every store's TV doorbusters, knowing which type of TVs each big retailer tends to focus on is a way smarter strategy going in.
Are TV deals better at Amazon, Best Buy, or Walmart? In my experience, Best Buy focuses on large screens and has a bigger selection of premium QLED and OLED models from Samsung, Sony, and LG on sale. Amazon gears its TV discounts more toward 43-inch to 65-inch Fire TVs, especially its in-house models. Walmart is known for a more concise list of doorbusters that are often simply the cheapest 4K TV possible in a certain size, specifically options in the 50- to 75-inch range that are more likely to sell out than TVs at other retailers. However, there's been a bit of a plot twist with cheap 43-inch to 65-inch QLEDs this year — Best Buy is kind of stealing Walmart's spotlight on that one.
The TV wheelhouses of these retailers don't completely bar any overlap between TV deals, though. A handful of popular models with big-name recognition (again, The Frame or LG's B3) are seeing price matches across multiple retailers, but we'll keep you posted if one retailer is able to undercut the others on one of these heavy hitters.

Best Black Friday TV deal Opens in a new window Credit: Hisense Hisense 75-inch QD6 QLED 4K TV $449.99 at Best BuyShopping for a TV on the bigger end of the spectrum doesn't automatically mean you'll be paying the big bucks. Not when the best Black Friday 75-inch TV deal gets you a QLED model for less than $500. That's just more proof that QLEDs are way more accessible for the average household now than they were a few years ago. Back then, you were lucky if you found a 75-inch regular LED TV that didn't break $500.
The difference between regular LED and QLED is that "Q," stands for quantum dots. They form an extra layer of extra light particles over the traditional LED panel to pump out a wider, more saturated range of colors. QLED TVs are also significantly brighter than regular LED TVs, making them a much better choice for watching sports, especially in the daytime.

SAVE UP TO 50% OFF: Ahead of Black Friday, shop early deals on Amazon Fire tablets. Find the Amazon Fire HD 10 for $74.99 and 46% off. Or check out the Fire 7 Kids Tablet for just $49.99 and 50% savings.
Best Amazon Fire Tablet Deals Best Amazon Fire Tablet deal Amazon Fire HD 10 Tablet 74.99 (Save $65) Get Deal Best Fire Kids Tablet Deal Amazon Fire 7 Kids Tablet 49.99 (Save $50) Get Deal Best Amazon Fire 8 Deal Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablet 54.99 (Save $45) Get DealWe know it's hard to stomach, but the holiday shopping season has begin. The Thanksgiving Turkey isn't even in the oven, but the sales are here, and who are we to ignore good deals? Think of it this way: get all your online shopping done now, so you can shop in-store on Black Friday.
Holiday deals have kicked off at Best Buy, Target, and of course, Amazon. One of the better sales out of Amazon is on the retailer's Fire Tablets. Amazon's answer to Apple's iPad is significantly cheaper, even at full price. During this early Black Friday, find Amazon Fire Tablets for their lowest prices ever, up to 50% off.
Best Amazon Fire Tablet deal Opens in a new window Credit: Amazon Amazon Fire HD 10 Tablet $74.99 at AmazonAmazon's Fire HD 10 tablet is a lot friendlier on the wallet than an iPad. With a 10.1-inch screen, it's similar in size, but it's also a fraction of the price. In our review of the Amazon Fire HD 10, we delighted in its lightweight design and long-battery life. The biggest downside to Amazon's Fire tablets are the limited selection of apps offered, especially compared the the Google Play or Apple stores.
That being said, it's still not a bad choice for those who want a tablet for streaming or reading through the Kindle app. And ahead of Black Friday, the Fire HD 10 is down to its lowest price ever of $74.99. That's a generous 46% off for $65 in savings.
Best Amazon Fire Kids Tablet Opens in a new window Credit: Amazon Amazon Fire 7 Kids Tablet $49.99 at AmazonUnlike Apple, Amazon makes tablets designed for kids. Not only does it come in a hefty case that can certainly withstand a temper tantrum, but it limits content so you don't have to worry about kids stumbling into inappropriate territory.
The Amazon Fire 7 Kids Tablet is now 50% off and down to $49.99. Plus, it comes with 6 months free of Amazon Kids+, a subscription service that offers age-friendly books, games, and videos for kiddos. Plus, just just $5 more, you can get a whole year of the service free.

Black Friday proper may be gone, but deals still abound (and probably will through Cyber Monday, at least) — and Black Friday Kindle deals are no exception.
Amazon has a knack for launching new devices around Prime Day, so it was no surprise when they dropped a new batch of Kindles post-October Prime Day. We've tested our way through most of the latest models, and they're improving upon already great tech for the fastest, brightest Kindles yet. Our favorite is the Kindle Paperwhite, and yes, it's on sale.
Because these items are so new, we weren't expecting to see amazing discounts, but Black Friday 2024 proved us wrong. Early on we saw Kindle bundles go on sale, but now, single devices are marked down up to 27% off.
Here are the best Kindle deals to shop on Black Friday. We'll be tracking prices throughout Cyber weekend, so if any new Kindle deals pop up, you'll find them here.
Best Kindle deal Opens in a new window Credit: Amazon Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition $154.99 at AmazonThe new batch of 2024 Kindles are the fastest yet, turning pages quickly and with less delay when switching between books in your library. The Kindle Paperwhite and Signature Edition both have bright, high-contrast screens, so you can read in any environment. While I prefer the Kindle Paperwhite over the Signature Edition most of the time, right now you can't beat the SE's Black Friday price.
The Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is 23% off, bringing it down to $154.99. That's some big savings ($45 to be exact) on a device that's usually $200. You get everything you love in the Paperwhite, lightweight and waterproof design, with the added benefits of double the storage, wireless charging, and auto-adjusting brightness.

Among the new Kindles is a redesigned Scribe, which comes in classic black or a flashy metallic jade and won't be officially available until Dec. 4. The new Scribe's screen got a makeover with added white borders to give it a more notebook-like feel. If the new model is anything like the current one, I'm excited to see what it offers.
If you're an annotator, the Kindle Scribe is the e-reader for you. The matte screen feels like writing on paper, and includes a notebook section so you can take notes in addition to annotating your e-books. Personally, I like writing with the Kindle Scribe far more than I do with an iPad and Apple Pencil.
This deal gives you a little extra off ahead of the Scribe's December release. The Essentials Bundle comes with the device, premium pen, folio-style case, and power adapter — everything you need to get started. Normally $539.97, you can find the bundle for $479.97, saving you $60 for 11% off.
Not sold on the Scribe (or its price)? There are other Black Friday bundle deals to explore.

Best gaming laptop deal Opens in a new window Credit: Alienware Alienware m16 R2 (Intel Core Ultra 9 185H, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD) $1,599.99 at Dell.comRead Mashable's full review of the Alienware m16 R2.
A Mashable Choice Award winner, Dell's Alienware m16 R2 is a premium 16-inch laptop "that can handle both play and work," said Mashable Tech Editor Kim Gedeon. She gave it a 4.5/5 rating for its awesome performance, its sturdy, "subdued" design that doesn't hang onto fingerprints, its "satisfying" keyboard, and its port selection. She also appreciated its support of Nvidia Advanced Optimus, a feature that lets users switch on its integrated graphics for non-gaming tasks. It's our favorite gaming laptop of 2024 despite its tinny audio and unimpressive battery life (which, to be fair, is to be expected with a machine this powerful).
The exact configuration we tested keeps going in and out of stock at Best Buy, having fallen to a record low of $1,299.99 during its Black Friday sale (a $600 discount). If it's MIA when you check, a similar configuration with a better Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU is readily available on Dell's website for $1,599.99, or $500 off. That's still better than the usual list price of our loaner.

UPDATE: Nov. 26, 2024, 10:40 a.m. EST This story has been updated with more Black Friday laptop deals at Amazon, including all-new top picks.
Amazon's best Black Friday laptop deals at a glance: Best MacBook deal Apple MacBook Air, 13-inch (M3, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD) $844 (save $255) Get Deal Best Windows laptop deal Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 (Snapdragon X Elite, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD) $1,549.99 (save $450) Get Deal Best gaming laptop deal Acer Nitro V 15 (Intel Core i7-13620H, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) $749.99 (save $250) Get Deal Best Chromebook deal Acer Chromebook Plus 514 (AMD Ryzen 3 7320C, 8GB RAM, 128GB eMMC) $299.99 (save $100) Get DealAmazon's laptop deals are unusually competitive during its Black Friday Week sale (live now through Friday, Nov 29.)
For reference, Best Buy is typically the major retailer with the best Black Friday laptop deals simply because it stocks the biggest selection. There are tons of discounts on a slew of configurations across a variety of brands there, including lots of newer models. (Best Buy is the exclusive retailer partner for a bunch of this year's Copilot+ PCs, for example.)
Meanwhile, Amazon typically zeroes in on Apple MacBooks and a handful of options from Acer, Asus, LG, Microsoft, and Samsung during major savings events. It seems to pick and choose its Windows models pretty randomly, so those who shop there exclusively may have to settle for a configuration that doesn't have the exact specs they want.
Amazon and Best Buy usually offer the exact same deals where their inventories overlap, but in the case of Black Friday 2024, the former has managed to crush its competitor in several notable cases. The base configuration of the 13-inch M3 MacBook Air (now with 16GB of RAM) is $5 cheaper on Amazon than at Best Buy, for instance, while the base M4 Pro-powered MacBook Pro is $50 cheaper.
Among Windows laptops, the Mashable Choice Award-winning Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 is $150 less at Amazon, and the highly rated Asus Zenbook Duo is $100 cheaper even with an extra boost from a My Best Buy discount.
SEE ALSO: All the best early Black Friday deals at Amazon, Target, Best Buy, and WalmartThings reach more of a stalemate when it comes to gaming laptops. Best Buy has the best overall deal with its $600 discount on the Alienware m16 R2, Mashable's top gaming laptop of 2024. And the $430 HP Victus featured in one of its doorbusters is the cheapest gaming laptop we've seen thus far. That said, Amazon is offering a pretty stellar deal on a variant of the Acer Nitro V 15, the best budget gaming laptop we've tried. It's actually better than advertised.
Keep in mind that Amazon does not offer price matching, but most items purchased there through Dec. 31 can be returned until Jan. 31, 2025 — save for MacBooks, which can be sent back until Jan. 15. (For its part, Best Buy's price match guarantee does not apply to competitors' offers when they're marked as Black Friday deals. It may eventually decide to conform to Amazon's prices on its own, but there's no telling if or when.)
Read on for a more detailed rundown of the best laptop deals available from Amazon's Black Friday Week sale. We'll continue to price-check our featured offers and look for more deals as the sale progresses, so check back often.
Note: Any deal marked with a 🔥has dropped to a record-low price.
Best MacBook deal at Amazon Opens in a new window Credit: Apple Apple MacBook Air, 13-inch (M3, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD) $844.00 at AmazonRead Mashable's full review of the Apple MacBook Air (M3).
The M3 Air is Mashable's favorite MacBook for most people, combining an "exquisite keyboard" with dual external monitor support and "zippy performance," wrote Mashable Tech Editor Kim Gedeon. (She gave it a 4.3/5 in her review.) As briefly mentioned, Apple just upgraded the base configuration from 8GB of memory to 16GB, making it an especially great value at its current sale price.
Amazon has the 13-inch model on sale for just $844 during its Black Friday Week sale, or $255 off its $1,099 MSRP — a 23% savings and a new record-low. It's now less than $100 more than the M2 version, so it's easy to recommend over its predecessor for future-proofing's sake.
The 15-inch version is also on sale for $255 off at Amazon, which Best Buy has decided to match.

Microsoft's slick Qualcomm-powered laptop lasted nearly 23 hours in our battery life test and one-upped the M3 MacBooks in our performance benchmark (both the Air and the Pro models). If Windows on Arm doesn't pose any compatibility issues for your go-to apps, we think it's the best Windows laptop for most people. It's a Mashable Choice Award-winner that got a 4.8/5 rating from Gedeon, which makes it one of our highest-rated laptops of 2024. (The Asus Zenbook Duo got the same score.)
The 13-inch model we tested came with a Snapdragon X Elite CPU, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. It usually retails for a hefty $1,999.99, but Amazon's Black Friday Week sale has brought it down to just $1,499.99 there. That's 23% off and a new all-time low. It was price-matched in the Microsoft Store at the time of writing, FYI, while Best Buy had it listed for $1,699.99.
If you don't want to spend that much, pared-down configurations start at $844.99.

The current-gen MacBook Air (which has a previous-gen M3 chip) is our favorite MacBook for most people because of its solid everyday power, awesome keyboard, and support for two external displays. Ahead of Cyber Monday, Amazon is still offering record-low Black Friday pricing on the base configuration, which just got upgraded from 8GB to 16GB of memory, and Best Buy hasn't managed to match it yet. It's less than $100 more than the older M2 version, so this is kind of a no-brainer.

UPDATE: Dec. 1, 2024, 1:59 p.m. EST I've added one new deal on a Lenovo LOQ from Best Buy's Cyber Monday sale. It's the cheapest gaming laptop I've spotted so far.

When Cyber Weekend rolls around, my job gets incredibly easy.
Major tech retailers and brands like Amazon, Best Buy, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, and Samsung took full advantage of Black Friday's unusually late timing this year, offering deep discounts on flagship laptops all November long. With Cyber Monday now nearly upon us, all-time lows on some of Mashable's best-reviewed machines are still up for grabs.
Cyber Weekend laptop deals are so competitive that even the famously stingy Apple Store gets involved. This year, it's doling out gift cards worth up to $200 with the purchase of select M2 and M3 MacBook Airs through Dec. 2 (aka Cyber Monday proper). I think most shoppers will prefer the "save money and go" approach of regular dollars-off discounts elsewhere, but this could be an option for someone who's deep in the Apple ecosystem or planning to buy other Apple gadgets.
SEE ALSO: The Cyber Monday deals we're already obsessing overI realize that a new laptop is one of the biggest one-off purchases someone can make all year, even if they score a great deal, so I spend hours researching and vetting discounts. (I'll sometimes list different MSRPs than major retailers if I find different numbers on manufacturers' or brands' direct websites.) I steer clear of models that aren't reasonably future-proofed, as well as laptop deals that from third-party sellers at Amazon or Walmart. They may use different customer service or have different return policies than the sites they sell on, and I don't think expensive purchases mesh well with riskiness.
Read on for a closer look at four of the best early Cyber Monday laptop deals I wouldn't pass up, plus more options across the MacBook, Windows, gaming, and Chromebook categories. Bookmark this page and come back later if you don't see any models with the specs you need, as I'll be updating the list continuously with new deals and price checks as sales continue.
Note: All newly added or updated deals have been marked with a ✨, while struck-through deals were either sold out or expired at the time of writing.
Best MacBook deal Opens in a new window Credit: Apple Apple MacBook Air, 13-inch (M3, 16GB RAM, 256GB) $844.00 at AmazonRead Mashable's full review of the M3 Apple MacBook Air.
Mashable Tech Editor Kim Gedeon was impressed by the M3 Air's peppy performance, satisfying keyboard, vivid webcam, and dual-display support (if you close its lid), rating it a 4.3/5. It may not look all that different from its older M-series predecessors — there is a new midnight finish option — but we think it's the best MacBook for most people, especially now that Apple's bumped its base RAM from 8GB to 16GB.
The starting configuration with 256GB of storage is on sale on Amazon for only $844, which is 23% off its $1,099 MSRP, its biggest discount ever, and $5 better than Best Buy's Black Friday deal on the exact same MacBook. (It's now $899 there.) This also puts less than $100 between it and the M2 Air, so opting for the current-gen model over the cheapest model out there feels like an easier, more obvious choice.
Just note that shipping times for all four finishes are pushed into December and January. I think it's worth the wait at this price.

Read Mashable's full review of the 13-inch Microsoft Surface Laptop 7.
Microsoft's Copilot+ PC has an even longer battery life than the new M4 MacBook Pros — it lasted nearly 23 hours in our testing — and it comes with AI features that "make Windows fun again," Gedeon wrote. She gave it a 4.8/5; it's a Mashable Choice Award winner and our current favorite Windows laptop for most people, barring any ARM-related app compatibility issues.
The upgraded configuration that Gedeon tested is a 13-inch model featuring a Snapdragon X Elite processor, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage, and its price fell several times throughout the month before it settled on a new record low last week. I'm calling this one the "Stop! He's already dead!" special.
In early November, Amazon put this Surface Laptop 7 back on sale at its October Prime Day price of $1,699.99. A week before Black Friday, Best Buy decided to match that deal — only for it to immediately drop by an extra $100 at Amazon and the Microsoft Store. A few days later, Amazon added $50 to its discount, which Microsoft eventually matched. Finally, on Black Friday proper, Amazon and Microsoft hammered the last nail in the coffin by bringing it down to an unprecedented $1,499 (or 25% off). It was still stuck at $1,699.99 at Best Buy the last time I checked. Poor guy.
For what it's worth, the Microsoft Store offers price protection if you bought the Surface Laptop 7 there at one of its previous sale prices. Amazon does not, but you do have the option of returning it and rebuying it for cheaper. The retailer's extended holiday return policy applies to most purchases made between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31.

This premium 16-incher is the best gaming laptop we tried in 2024 (and another Mashable Choice Award winner), earning a score of 4.5/5 from Gedeon. She was impressed by its ample mid-range power, its "springy" keyboard, and its solid build quality, as well as its "seamless" support of Nvidia's Advanced Optimus feature. That lets it switch between its discrete and integrated GPUs "to handle both play and work," she wrote.
Our testing configuration featured an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H CPU, GeForce RTX 4070 graphics, 16GB of memory, and a terabyte of storage. It's back at full price at Best Buy after dropping to $1,299.99 there on Black Friday (or $600 off), a popular deal that sold out several times over the weekend. However, another model with a slightly better processor and a slightly worse GPU is on sale for the same price on Dell's website during its Cyber Monday sale — a $400 savings.

Announced in October, this 15.6-inch Samsung Galaxy machine is the thinnest, lightest Chromebook Plus model on the market and the only one with an AMOLED display. (Translation: It's super vibrant.) "As someone who got a chance to get some hands-on experience with the Galaxy Chromebook Plus, I can confirm that it is razor thin," Gedeon wrote. "I don't even know how they managed to pack any internals inside." It has an Intel Core 3 100U processor, 8GB of memory, and 256GB of UFS storage, and supports newer Gemini AI features like Live Translate.

Black Friday is behind us, which means that Cyber Monday is just about to kick off.
Apple deals, particularly on iPads, started rolling in once major retailers kicked off their official sales programming in early November. We've been seeing prices at or near record lows for weeks, from the iPad Air at $100 off, the 10th generation iPad at $70 off, and the new iPad mini at $99 off (which is now sold out).
SEE ALSO: All the best early Black Friday deals at Amazon, Target, Best Buy, and WalmartThere aren't many significant price changes now that Cyber Monday is about to start. Aside from a $20 price drop on the 10th generation iPad with boosted storage, the iPad deals largely remain the same as the Black Friday shopping event. Given that these prices are some of the best of the year, that's hardly a disappointment. These deals are good no matter which way you slice it.
Note: All newly added or updated deals have been marked with a ✨, while struck-through deals were either sold out or expired at the time of writing.

The M2 chip also powers some older Pro models, but you'll be saving a few hundred bucks (especially with this iPad deal). At $499, this iPad is just a dollar away from its record-low pricing, making it an excellent time to pick it up ahead of the holidays.

The Apple AirPods Pro 2, which come packed with great features like ANC, hearing protection options, personalized spatial audio, and more, are selling for $153.99 at Amazon (they've been going back and forth between $153.99 and $154, in case that extra penny makes a difference to you). That's $95 off and the lowest price we've seen on these earbuds yet.
As we approach Cyber Monday, we have seen these earbuds go out of stock at Amazon. If they're unavailable, you can also pick them up for this price at Walmart. As of this writing, Target and Best Buy are selling them for $169.99.

If you're not really into earbuds, the AirPods Max are a good pair of over-ear headphones that'll allow you to stay within the Apple ecosystem (we get it, we like our tech to have synergy, too). While we like them for Apple users, we do have some qualms with their shorter battery life, weird carrying case, and lack of a power button, especially at their price point. We do have to point out one fatal flaw with these headphones — they still use a lightning connector. Despite this very lame feature, they're still undeniably cool. And if you're willing to pay a bit more, the new USB-C version is on sale, too.

Just two months after its release, the Series 10 is down to a record-low price (for the third time).
Last year, the Series 9 dropped to $359 during Black Friday, so it's pretty impressive to be able to snag the next-gen Apple Watch for the same amount of money — especially when that next-gen watch has a bigger, crispier 46mm display (but a thinner design overall) and an inbuilt speaker for playing audio directly from your watch. If you'd be fine with a smaller screen, you can save an extra $30 and opt for the 42mm Series 10, which is on sale for $329 at Best Buy.

Black Friday is behind us, and Cyber Monday is before us. We're keeping a close eye on all the Apple deals for the latest sales and updating this page hourly with the best prices through Cyber Monday, which falls on Monday, Dec. 2.
Because if you think Apple doesn't show up with good deals during Black Friday season, think again.
It's true that if you're shopping straight from the Apple Store, you're limited to its usual gift card promo. From Nov. 29 through Dec. 2, Apple is giving out gift cards worth up to $200 with the purchase of select iPhones, MacBooks, AirPods, and more. Yawn.
The real savings are happening at other retailers. Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart are offering historic prices on the most coveted Apple products during their holiday sales, so keep checking back through Cyber Monday.
Skeptical about Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals on Apple products? We get it. Retailers sometimes use the label on mediocre deals. But we track Apple prices year-round, and only legit price drops earn a spot in this guide.
Case in point: Amazon's Black Friday Week sale delivered a new all-time low price on the M3 MacBook Air, which now comes with 16GB of memory. (It's also $55 cheaper at Amazon than it is at Best Buy.) You can also buy the AirPods Pro at the record-low price of $154 at Amazon and Walmart, which beats out their old Prime Day record by nearly $15.
As we round the corner into Cyber Monday, we're already seeing some of the most popular Apple deals that we thought had sold out are now magically back. The $89 AirPods 2? Back! The M3 MacBook Air? Back! So, if you see something you like on sale, grab it before it's gone again for good.

Whether you're a frequent flyer or simply someone who loves noise-cancelling headphones, we're betting you'll be a fan of the AirPods Pro. (If you're reading this far, let's assume you're not an Android user.) The latest version of the Pro earbuds has consistently been at a record low of $153.99. (Update: These buds may be priced at $154 for some shoppers, a whole penny more.) For comparison's sake, they've only hit $168.99 a handful of times prior to this price drop. Good on Amazon, Target, and Walmart for going all-in on a Black Friday deal this great.
Strangely, they're also $11 cheaper than the new AirPods 4 with ANC, which are supposed to be a more budget-friendly alternative to the Pros. (Yes, the AirPods 4 are also on sale.) Alongside top-notch ANC, you'll get six hours of battery life per charge, balanced sound, and of course, a seamless integration into the Apple ecosystem, making these earbuds some of our favorite headphones, period.

A few weeks ago, the M3 MacBook Air got a quiet RAM upgrade without a price hike. That makes this new record-low price on the base configuration with 256GB of storage an even sweeter deal. (What's more, it's now a sub-$100 bump from the older, also-on-sale M2 version.) For reference, this is our favorite MacBook for most people in 2024: It's fast enough to handle light creative work, its keyboard and speakers are both fantastic, and it can support two external displays — so long as you close its lid first.
Update: The $844 deal has sold out at the time of writing. Prices at Amazon are now $899 for the 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD models. Select colors of the M3 MacBook Air are also back-ordered at Amazon, with most models not set to deliver until after Christmas.

The iPad Air is just one dollar away from its lowest price ever. This Apple tablet is our favorite model for most people thanks to its versatility: It works just as well for artists as it does for students. The M2 chipset makes it a more viable laptop replacement than other tablets while costing you a few hundred dollars less than a supercharged iPad Pro.

Thanks to Amazon and Best Buy, the Apple Watch Series 10 is officially down to a new record-low price for the third time this month. (This time around, it's at $329, as compared to last week's $349.) Apple's latest flagship smartwatch has a thinner and lighter design than previous models, plus a larger display that has a built-in speaker. It supports new health and fitness features like sleep apnea alerts and water temperature/depth sensing, though its faster charging was the biggest plus in our reviewer's eyes.

Gift cards aren't exactly the most personal way of showing someone how much you care, but they're definitely more practical. At least you know they'll be used. We can't say the same about that personalized sweater you knit years prior.
Black Friday is usually a great time to find gift cards for just about anything for a steal. In years past, we've seen deals on rideshare services, streaming subscriptions, grocery delivery, travel, and more, and Black Friday definitely brought the heat, with picks from DoorDash, Lyft, and Instacart. As we continue toward Cyber Monday, you can still find most of these gift card deals at Amazon and Best Buy, but we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for any more that pop up as Cyber Week continues.
