If you like playing daily word games like Wordle, then Hurdle is a great game to add to your routine.

There are five rounds to the game. The first round sees you trying to guess the word, with correct, misplaced, and incorrect letters shown in each guess. If you guess the correct answer, it'll take you to the next hurdle, providing the answer to the last hurdle as your first guess. This can give you several clues or none, depending on the words. For the final hurdle, every correct answer from previous hurdles is shown, with correct and misplaced letters clearly shown.

An important note is that the number of times a letter is highlighted from previous guesses does necessarily indicate the number of times that letter appears in the final hurdle.

The NYT Connections puzzle today is not too difficult if you love to level up.

Connections is the one of the most popular New York Times word games that's captured the public's attention. The game is all about finding the "common threads between words." And just like Wordle, Connections resets after midnight and each new set of words gets trickier and trickier—so we've served up some hints and tips to get you over the hurdle.

The NYT's latest daily word game has become a social media hit. The Times credits associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu with helping to create the new word game and bringing it to the publications' Games section. Connections can be played on both web browsers and mobile devices and require players to group four words that share something in common.

Each puzzle features 16 words and each grouping of words is split into four categories. These sets could comprise of anything from book titles, software, country names, etc. Even though multiple words will seem like they fit together, there's only one correct answer.

If a player gets all four words in a set correct, those words are removed from the board. Guess wrong and it counts as a mistake—players get up to four mistakes until the game ends.

Players can also rearrange and shuffle the board to make spotting connections easier. Additionally, each group is color-coded with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Like Wordle, you can share the results with your friends on social media.

Released in August 2025, the Pips puts a unique spin on dominoes, creating a fun single-player experience that could become your next daily gaming habit.

Currently, if you're stuck, the game only offers to reveal the entire puzzle, forcing you to move onto the next difficulty level and start over. However, we have you covered! Below are piecemeal answers that will serve as hints so that you can find your way through each difficulty level.

How to play Pips

If you've ever played dominoes, you'll have a passing familiarity for how Pips is played. As we've shared in our previous hints stories for Pips, the tiles, like dominoes, are placed vertically or horizontally and connect with each other. The main difference between a traditional game of dominoes and Pips is the color-coded conditions you have to address. The touching tiles don't necessarily have to match.

The conditions you have to meet are specific to the color-coded spaces. For example, if it provides a single number, every side of a tile in that space must add up to the number provided. It is possible – and common – for only half a tile to be within a color-coded space.

Here are common examples you'll run into across the difficulty levels:

• Number: All the pips in this space must add up to the number.

• Equal: Every domino half in this space must be the same number of pips.

• Not Equal: Every domino half in this space must have a completely different number of pips.

• Less than: Every domino half in this space must add up to less than the number.

• Greater than: Every domino half in this space must add up to more than the number.

If an area does not have any color coding, it means there are no conditions on the portions of dominoes within those spaces.

Anyone who's seen Netflix’s award-winning series Adolescence will have heard the word "manosphere" — and most people using the internet in recent years will have encountered it.

The term refers to an online subculture in which so called "alpha males" — think Andrew Tate and the like — preach a life philosophy that espouses traditional, outdated, misogynistic versions of masculinity like dominance, emotional stoicism and the subjugation of women.

In Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere, the legendary documentary-maker submerges himself in this murky world, spending time with influencers while trying to get to the bottom of where their world view comes from.

The question is, how successful is he?

"I coach boys how to be fucking boys. How to make money, how to be outside the system, how to not have a boss telling you what to do. I teach guys to be proper guys."

This is how Harrison Sullivan (known online as HS Tikky Tokky) responds when Theroux ask him what his core message is. The remainder of the feature-length documentary essentially unpacks this sentiment, examining how influencers like Sullivan come to hold their views, how they make their money, and the type of impact their content has on the fans that consume it.

To do this, Theroux spends time with Sullivan and a number of similar influencers, jumping between livestreamed nights out in Spain and tours of flashy apartments in Miami. He speaks to a friend of the Tate brothers, Justin Waller, and the host of controversial Fresh and Fit podcast, Myron Gaines, both of whom espouse a "one-way monogamy" in which they're allowed to sleep with other people while their partners can't. Theroux also spends time with formerly banned YouTuber Sneako, who's morphed from the manosphere to far-right politics and pushing conspiracy theories.

Theroux's interviews expose a number of similarities between the influencers he meets: They all share extreme views, they're anti-feminist, and — crucially — they've all found a way to profit from sharing these views online.

Inside the Manosphere exposes the contradictions, and the money

With half a million people in his Telegram group, Sullivan is able to drive fans towards the profiles of OnlyFans creators and financial apps, both of which provide him with a revenue source. Throughout the documentary, though, his disdain for OnlyFans creators is clear. When Theroux asks him if it's a contradiction to be profiting from OnlyFans creators while also denigrating them, Sullivan is unapologetic.

"I openly say I don't give a fuck, and I'm doing it for money," he says.

Gaines' relationship with OnlyFans creators is shown as similar; he frequently has them as guests on his podcast, while also doing his best to publicly humiliate them.

Waller, meanwhile, has a similar business model to Sullivan's financial apps. As we see in the film, he promotes subscriptions to a self-described "online university" created by the Tate brothers called The Real World, where people pay $49 a month for access — and Waller gets a cut.

The documentary makes it clear that while these various influencers may hold the views that they preach, their primary motivation is financial — and Sullivan in particular says he's happy to make money even if the means goes against his own philosophy.

"Why not try and be a good person?" Theroux asks him at one point, in one of the documentary's most interesting exchanges. "Why not try and uplift people, rather than pandering to their worst impulses?"

Sullivan seems to genuinely spend a moment thinking about it. "It's a good question," he says eventually. "If I'd just done good things, I would never have really blown up on social media in the first place."

Is there a danger of giving these people a bigger platform?

Manosphere influencers aren't the first controversial group that Louis Theroux has spent time with. He's previously made shows on the homophobic Westerboro Baptist Church, and in 2022 he made a programme in which he spent time with far-right influencer Nick Fuentes. There's sometimes a tension in his work when it comes to featuring figures like this: Does giving them air time actually raise their profiles, and therefore their influence? Is it possible that in spending time with them, Theroux is doing more harm than good?

This is a question that comes up in the documentary itself, in Theroux's final meeting with Sullivan and his mother, Elaine. She puts it to the documentarian directly: "If you don't agree with what Harrison is doing, then why are you making money off of it on a program by publicising it?"

She may have a point. But in the case of the manosphere, you could also argue that the problem is already out there. And even if Theroux's documentary risks giving Sullivan more attention, it also does a solid job of exposing what he and his peers are really about: profiting from their followers.

Rather than coming across as some kind of revolutionary philosophy that will help uplift struggling young men, the manosphere depicted in Theroux's documentary seems more like a multi-level marketing scheme. Influencers portray themselves as having made it so they can build a following, which then allows them to monetise the people they claim they're trying to help.

Not even the in-game currencies for your favorite battle royale shooter games are immune from the current global economic conditions.

Fortnite, the massively popular online free-to-play game, announced on Tuesday that it was increasing the prices for its in-game currency V-Bucks.

"The cost of running Fortnite has gone up a lot and we’re raising prices to help pay the bills," developer Epic Games shared in a statement posted on Fortnite's website.

Currently, $8.99 buys gamers 1,000 V-Bucks. Starting on March 19, $8.99 will only buy gamers 800 V-Bucks. 

Those price changes will also go into effect across the board on that date. Here's how prices will change:

• The $22.99 V-Bucks pack will come with 2,400 V-Bucks instead of the current amount of 2,800

• The $36.99 pack will come with 4,500 V-Bucks instead of 5,000

Fortnite Crew, the game's monthly subscription membership, will remain priced at $11.99 per month. However, instead of receiving 1,000 V-Bucks per month with the reward, members will only receive 800 V-Bucks per month going forward.

There's also some price drops coming to all four of Fortnite's season passes. 

Fortnite's OG Pass will drop in price from 1,000 V-Bucks to 800 V-Bucks. The game's Music Pass and LEGO Pass will also be reduced from 1,400 V-Bucks to 1,200 V-Bucks.

As for the most popular season pass, Fortnite's Battle Pass, it too will drop in price from 1,000 V-Bucks per season to 800 V-Bucks. 

However, there is a negative change here as well. Epic is also altering the amount of V-Bucks you can earn with the Battle Pass. By playing the game, completing quests, gaining XP, and leveling up, gamers could've earned 1,000 V-Bucks plus 500 more V-Bucks with Bonus Rewards. Going forward, only 800 V-Bucks could be earned by completing the Battle Pass. That's in total. Fortnite is also doing away with the Bonus Rewards V-Bucks.

So, while Fortnite gamers could still purchase a single Battle Pass and use their V-Bucks earnings to redeem the next season's Battle Pass in perpetuity, there won't be any leftover V-Bucks to use on skins or other items in the Fortnite shop under these changes.

The game's Battle Bundle, which includes the Battle Pass and a 25-level upgrade, will be changing in price too, going from 2,800 V-Bucks to 2,600 V-Bucks.

It's important to note that in-game items in the Fortnite shop do not change gameplay whatsoever. Skins, emotes, back bling, wraps, and other items are all solely cosmetic in nature and do not play a factor in the actual gameplay.

The debate began with Gen Z creator @taylormknott joking that you can instantly tell how old someone is by how they film a TikTok, because millennials leave "a ton of space between the top of their head and the top of the screen."

The observation resonated with younger viewers accustomed to TikTok's tight, face-forward framing. But it also triggered an immediate response from millennials. One such creator, screenwriter Andrew Briedis, posted a stitched rebuttal on Instagram Reels.

"Gen Z, you know I love you," he began, before launching into a lightly exasperated defense of millennial filmmaking instincts. His argument was simple: millennials aren't leaving that space by accident. They're doing it on purpose.

"It's called the Rule of Thirds," he said, referring to the classic photography and cinematography principle that divides a frame into three sections and positions subjects along those lines for visual balance. Leaving space above the head, he argued, draws the viewer's eye intentionally rather than cramming a face into the center of the frame.

In other words, what Gen Z sees as awkward framing, millennials see as composition.

But beneath the technical explanation lay one rooted in generational experience with technology. "Any of us millennials, we didn't have phones to record on," he said. "You know what I had in high school? A digital camera that recorded like 20 seconds, and then I had to plug it into a computer and download it."

For millennials, visual storytelling was something learned deliberately: photography classes, film studies, and early YouTube tutorials about composition and lighting. The grammar of images, like the rule of thirds, was taught as a skill.

Gen Z, by contrast, grew up with front-facing cameras in their pockets. Video wasn't just something you learned in a class. It was something you did constantly, from a very young age. The result is a different visual language: closer framing, direct eye contact with the camera, and compositions optimized for a vertical phone screen rather than cinematic balance.

As a millennial myself, I don't think either approach is necessarily wrong. They’re just products of different media ecosystems.

Millennials were raised on cameras and camcorders that adhered to traditional photography rules. Video felt closer to filmmaking. Gen Z was raised on smartphones and social media platforms where immediacy and intimacy matter more than textbook composition. The goal isn't to frame a shot like a director — it's to feel like you're FaceTiming a friend.

Even the creator who started the "millennial space" debate eventually responded with another video that zoomed out from the joke (but, notably, kept the camera angle tight).

"All these things that we tease each other for," @taylormknott said in a follow-up TikTok, "are indicators of a larger truth that exposes how we interact with technology differently based on when we were given access to it during our childhood development."

In other words, the debate about how much space you leave above your head in a video isn't really about framing at all. It's about how two generations learned to see themselves on camera and how the tools they grew up with shaped what "normal" looks like on screen.

So when Gen Z jokes about the "millennial space," they’re not just roasting millennial camera angles. They're pointing at a visual style shaped by an earlier internet. And when millennials defend it, they're defending something else entirely — the idea that framing a shot is a craft.

Like most generational internet debates, the argument is less about who's right and more about how quickly media habits evolve. What looks correct to one generation can look completely off to another.

Announced today, OpenAI's chatbot can now generate interactive visuals in response to prompts on math and science questions, including dynamic, customizable graphs, diagrams, and geometric renderings. Once generated, users can adjust variables and manipulate formulas directly in the chat and watch the visuals change in real-time.

For now, visual explanations are available for 70 "core concepts" in science and math, including specific physics and geometric formulas like the Pythagorean theorem, Charles’ and Ohm's laws, kinetic and potential energy, and more. ChatGPT fields math and science questions from 140 million users each week, according to parent company OpenAI. Last year, the company launched Study Mode, a toggle-on ChatGPT experience designed to act more like an AI tutor rather than an all-around helper. With Study Mode on, ChatGPT is instructed not to give direct solutions but to encourage a more socratic style of learning. In Mashable's tests, however, the chatbot still provided answers, even when unprompted.

Dynamic visuals aren't a Study Mode-only feature, however, and the company told Mashable that the experience was designed and tested using the standard ChatGPT mode. Math and science visuals will appear across all ChatGPT experiences and plans, and are available now.

Blaming chatbots, they are joining an earlier push for better protections by parents who say social media contributed to their children’s deaths.
