Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick are at each other's throats again in Another Simple Favor, the sequel to 2018's comedy-thriller A Simple Favor.
SEE ALSO: 'Another Simple Favor' review: Blake Lively is at her best bad and madDirected by Paul Feig, the film picks up five years after the events of the original, which saw Stephanie Smothers (Kendrick) send the glamorous (and murderous) Emily Nelson (Lively) to prison. But Emily isn't out of Stephanie's life just yet! Not only has Stephanie written a true crime memoir based on the events of A Simple Favor — she also runs into Emily herself while on her book tour.
That's right, Emily's out of prison on appeal, and she has one more favor to ask of Stephanie: Will she be her maid of honor at her destination wedding in Capri? (With a threat of legal action hanging over Stephanie's head, she has no choice but to accept.)
The trailer for Another Simple Favor jets off to the Italian island, re-acquainting us with familiar faces like Emily's ex-husband Sean (Henry Golding), who would rather "shave [his] balls with a rusty knife than be at this wedding." It also introduces some new players, including Emily's fiancé Dante (Michele Morrone) and her aunt Linda (Allison Janney).
But of course, the true star of the trailer is the catty interplay between Lively and Kendrick, with the ever-present threat of murder hanging in the air between them. "You know, just girlfriend stuff," Stephanie says.
In her review of Another Simple Favor out of its 2025 SXSW premiere, Mashable Entertainment Editor Kristy Puchko called the film a "divinely twisted thriller." The movie also stars Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Alex Newell, and Elena Sofia Ricci.

Katy Perry's trip to space is almost here.
Well, sort of, anyway. Blue Origin's mission NS-31, which includes an all-female civilian astronaut crew, is getting ready to launch on Monday morning from Van Horn, TX. The launch is set for roughly 9:30 a.m. ET, though it could happen either earlier or later, depending on how things go. That's why it's important for you to tune into the livestream ASAP, which can be seen on YouTube.
SEE ALSO: The U.S. is building a fuel depot in spaceOf course, the crew doesn't only consist of Perry, though she may be the most famous member of it. NS-31's crew also includes CBS Mornings host Gayle King, journalist Lauren Sánchez (who is engaged to Blue Origin owner Jeff Bezos), former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, film producer Kerianne Flynn, and activist Amanda Nguyễn.
As with William Shatner's famous 2021 trip, this flight won't take the crew up to the Moon or the ISS or anything like that. It takes the crew into sub-orbit for a short time, before (hopefully) safely returning to Earth. Real spaceflight or not, though, it's almost certainly going to be memorable for all involved.
Director Ari Aster is no stranger to horror, delivering family grief-based frights in Hereditary and sunlit chills in Midsommar. In his fourth feature, Eddington, he turns his lens on a familiar (and recent) horror: the year 2020.
The first trailer for Eddington, distributed by A24, takes the form of a doomscroll through Instagram circa 2020. In voiceover, COVID-19 conspiracy theorists talk about a lab in Wuhan, China, being tied to Tom Hanks, arguably the first celebrity to contract the virus. Scroll down, and come face to face with the sheriff of Eddington, New Mexico, played by Joaquin Phoenix (who also starred in Aster's third feature, Beau Is Afraid).
SEE ALSO: Ari Aster and Joaquin Phoenix on 'Beau Is Afraid's most challenging scene"If you value your life, you should think twice, because the people of Eddington like guns," the sheriff says in a clip from Fox News. Foreboding!
The trailer scrolls further, revealing more of Eddington's cast. Austin Butler plays a motivational speaker with the username vernonjeffersonpeak, who tells his followers, "Your pain is not a coincidence. You are not a coincidence."
Next up is Emma Stone (username louise.cross), who denies an announcement her husband made the day prior. Pedro Pascal joins the feed soon after as Mayor Ted Garcia, who commits to guiding Eddington through the pandemic.
According to the official summary from A24, Pascal's mayor and Phoenix's sheriff (whom the trailer reveals to be the person scrolling) will go head to head in a standoff that will light a powder keg in Eddington. Get a taste for yourself in the full trailer above, which also features Phoenix confronting masked protestors, TikTok dances about James Baldwin, and a black square posted as part of Blackout Tuesday. It's a pretty accurate time capsule of social media in 2020 — but how much do you really want to relive that?
Eddington also stars Luke Grimes, Deirdre O’Connell, Micheal Ward, Clifton Collins Jr., William Belleau, Cameron Mann, Matt Gomez Hidaka, and Amélie Hoeferle.
Eddington hits theaters July 18.

My personal favorite pair of earbuds, the AirPods Pro 2, are discounted as part of its sale event. If you've been looking to invest in new earbuds, I highly recommend these if you're an Apple user.
The AirPods Pro 2 have been marked down from their list price of $249.99 to $189.99, allowing you to save $60 on list price. On top of that sweet deal, your purchase also comes with Apple Fitness+ for three months if you're a new subscriber and up to three months of Apple Music if you're a new or returning subscriber, which are great offers to kickstart your journey with these new earbuds.
SEE ALSO: My favorite iPad is $80 off at WalmartThese earbuds are ready to immerse you in your favorite music, audiobooks, podcasts, and more with great sound quality courtesy of the H2 chip. They even feature Personalized Spatial Audio that surrounds you in the sounds you're listening to. More importantly, though, you'll get noise-canceling features — Active Noise Cancelation, Transparency mode, and Adaptive Audio — that can either completely block out any outside noise or allow some in to keep you a bit more aware.
We consider the AirPods Pro 2 to be the best pick for Apple users in our overall roundup of the best earbuds, saying, "They produce a sound that's rich and well-balanced, they have excellent noise cancellation (that falls just behind the Bose QC Ultras), and they work seamlessly within the Apple ecosystem."
This deal may not last for long beyond Best Buy's Spring Sale, so act fast to save on the AirPods Pro 2.
There are a couple more earbud deals floating around right now that are worth checking out alongside the AirPods Pro 2. Also at Best Buy, the Bose Ultra Open-Ear earbuds have received a $70 discount and at Amazon you can score a nice deal on Sony’s WF-1000XM5 earbuds.
Trump's tariff policies have been all over the place since so-called "Liberation Day", with so many pauses and changes that the only thing easy to keep track of has been the rapidly dumping stock market.
In the clip above from Last Week Tonight John Oliver does his best to sum up the whole mess, talking about everything from the origins of Trump's love of tariffs to the reaction his changing policies have had from Fox pundits and Republicans.
"Look, I don't know where things are going to go next," sums up Oliver. "We're taping this on Saturday, who knows what's happened between now and when you are seeing this. Maybe Trump will have rolled the tariffs back even further, maybe he'll have put even bigger new ones on mangos. What is clear is he's destabilising our economy with no real plan of action."
There's a global trade war underway, and prices of tech products are increasing.
Sony just increased the price of its PlayStation 5 gaming console in Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
The prices, effective starting April 14, are as follows:
Europe: PS5 Digital Edition: €499.99
UK: PS5 Digital Edition: £429.99
Australia: Standard PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive – AUD $829.95
PS5 Digital Edition – AUD $749.95
New Zealand: Standard PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive – NZD - $949.95
PS5 Digital Edition – NZD $859.95
The prices represent a roughly 15 percent increase across the board.
The good news is that the Disc Drive for PS5 will get slightly cheaper (€79.99 in Europe, £69.99 in the UK, AUD $124.95 in Australia, and NZD $139.95 in New Zealand). Also, the PS5 Pro still costs the same in all of these markets.
SEE ALSO: 'The Last of Us Complete' lands on PlayStation 5, along with a Collector's Edition that's up for preorderSony says the price hikes are due to a "challenging economic environment, including high inflation and fluctuating exchange rates." The increased U.S. tariffs for China, where Sony produces the PS5, aren't mentioned, and prices in the U.S. haven't changed — yet. Given that tariffs on Chinese goods have sharply risen (and fluctuated, seemingly at President Trump's whim) in the past week, it's reasonable to expect similar, if not higher, price hikes in the U.S. as well.
In the wake of Trump's tariffs, numerous tech products have become more expensive. We're tracking them all here, but the list includes Asus laptops, Nvidia GPUs, and Sony TVs.

Their open design allows you to stay in touch with the world around you without skipping a beat. Our review had high praise for them, with writer RJ Andersen saying, "Bose's new earbuds have a unique design that prioritizes awareness over noise cancellation. Though we were skeptical at first, these buds are extremely comfortable and score top marks for battery life, spatial audio, and sound quality."
There's no better time than now to upgrade your earbuds with this great discount on the Bose Ultra Open-Ear earbuds in Best Buy's Spring Sale.

SAVE $120: As of April 14, Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds are available for $179.99 at Amazon. That’s $120 off their usual price of $299.99.
Opens in a new window Credit: Sony Sony WF-1000XM5 $179.99 at AmazonI didn’t think I needed another pair of earbuds until I saw Sony’s WF-1000XM5s hanging out at $179.99 on Amazon. Now I’m inventing reasons to upgrade. This is a 40% drop on a set of earbuds that actually lives up to its noise-cancelling flex — and that’s not something I say lightly. Sony claims these are their best truly wireless buds yet. Honestly, I believe them.
What sold me is the balance. They’ve nailed that elusive mix of powerful noise cancellation, rich sound, and decent call quality, which usually means sacrificing one for the other. These don’t. You can pop them in on a noisy train, crank up your playlist, and suddenly it’s just you and Beyoncé. Or doom metal. I’m not here to judge.
SEE ALSO: Live your Kawaii gamer dreams with this discounted Logitech POP ICON keyboard and mouse comboThe new design is a bit glossier than before, and the earbuds are smaller, so they don’t look like you’re trying to receive a satellite signal from your ear canal. They’re light, comfy, and surprisingly good at staying put, even when I forget I’m wearing them and start acting like a backup dancer in the produce aisle.
Price: $179.99 $299.99
Retailer: Amazon
Noise Cancellation: Active noise cancellation with dual feedback microphones
Sound Quality: Wide frequency reproduction, detailed vocals
Call Quality: Enhanced clarity in noisy environments
Battery Life: Up to 8 hours (24 hours with case), 1 hour playback from 3-minute charge
Design: Smaller, in-ear fit with glossy finish
Smart Features: Alexa built-in
Connectivity: Bluetooth
You’ll get up to 8 hours of battery on a single charge, and the case stretches that to 24 hours. Plus, a three-minute charge gives you a full hour of listening time, which is perfect for those of us who remember to charge things only after walking out the door.
I think this deal is kind of a no-brainer. If you’ve been eyeing a pair of high-end earbuds that won’t absolutely destroy your bank account, Sony just made your decision very easy.
Ben Stiller is on top, giggly form in the Chicken Shop Date interview above.
Appearing opposite host Amelia Dimoldenberg, Stiller answer questions on everything from how he'd direct Chicken Shop Date to whether or not he has a "thing" for people throwing chicken at his face (it'll make sense when you watch the clip).
His responses? Mostly a lot of sniggering in the face of Dimoldenberg's deadpan stare.
SAVE $100: As of April 14, the Garmin vívoactive 5 is on sale for $199 at Amazon. That’s $100 off its regular $299.99 price.
Opens in a new window Credit: Garmin Garmin vívoactive 5 $199 at AmazonI didn’t expect to care so much about a smartwatch’s opinion of my naps, but here we are. Garmin vívoactive 5 is one of those fitness trackers that makes you feel like it knows you a little too well. Normally $299.99, it’s now sitting at a much more tempting $199 on Amazon. For $100 off, you get a sleek wrist companion that somehow understands your stress levels, energy dips, and sleep cycles better than your therapist. No offense to therapists, but Garmin wins on battery life.
Garmin vívoactive 5 is all about subtle flexes. That AMOLED display? Bright enough to burn through your retinas in direct sunlight. Battery life? Up to 11 days, because recharging every night is for amateurs and Apple Watch users. I think it’s one of the best options for people who want full-blown wellness tracking without committing to the whole "smartwatch that does too much and dies too fast" vibe.
SEE ALSO: Live your Kawaii gamer dreams with this discounted Logitech POP ICON keyboard and mouse comboI love that it covers more than just steps and heart rate. You get HRV, stress, and sleep scores, plus actual insights instead of vague congratulations. There's a Body Battery feature that literally tells you when you’re running on fumes and when you’ve got enough juice to do something regrettable, like sign up for hot yoga. It even logs naps automatically, which feels a little creepy but mostly validating.
Price: $199 $299.99
Retailer: Amazon
Display: 1.2-inch AMOLED
OS Compatibility: Android and iOS
Battery Life: Up to 11 days in smartwatch mode
Health Features: HRV status, stress tracking, sleep score and coaching, menstrual and pregnancy tracking
Fitness Features: 30+ indoor and GPS workout modes, wheelchair mode, Body Battery
GPS: Built-in
Connectivity: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB
Storage: 4GB
The workout modes go beyond the usual treadmill and weights too. There are over 30 options, including HIIT, cycling, swimming, golf, and a surprisingly robust wheelchair mode. It replaces steps with push tracking and comes with tailored workouts that are actually inclusive. And I think that’s one of the best reasons to support this kind of device.
I’m not ditching my phone’s health app entirely, but I do want something smarter, more wearable, and way less needy. This deal makes it hard to argue.
SAVE $250: As of April 14, LG's 65-inch UT70 4K UHD Smart TV is available for $349.99 at Best Buy. That’s $250 off its regular price of $599.99.
Opens in a new window Credit: LG LG UT70 65-inch 4K TV $349.99 at Best BuyA $250 discount on a 65-inch screen? That’s the kind of deal that makes me double-check my living room wall for available real estate. LG's UT70 isn’t trying to be the crown jewel of your home theater setup, but it’s shockingly well-equipped for the price. Best Buy has it for $349.99 right now, which is wild considering how many feature-stripped, no-name TVs still hover around this price point.
I think what makes this deal genuinely tempting is how much functionality LG crammed into a so-called "budget" screen. You’re still getting 4K resolution, HDR10 Pro for richer contrast, and a picture processor with a name almost as long as its spec sheet: α5 AI Processor Gen7. It adds a nice boost to brightness, color, and clarity — none of which I expected to see on a $349 TV.
SEE ALSO: Live your Kawaii gamer dreams with this discounted Logitech POP ICON keyboard and mouse comboLG also tossed in FILMMAKER MODE, so if you're the kind of person who loses sleep over motion smoothing, you're covered. Personally, I love how this mode strips away all the unnecessary post-processing. Movies look like movies again, not soap operas. It's the little things.
For gamers or those of us still clinging to cloud gaming dreams, the inclusion of Game Optimizer and GeForce NOW support is a surprisingly nice touch. No console? No problem. I’m not saying it’ll rival an OLED, but I am saying this is more than good enough for casual couch co-op or binging a bunch of Netflix.
Price: $349.99 $599.99
Retailer: Best Buy
Display: 65-inch LED, 4K UHD
Processor: α5 AI Processor Gen7
HDR: HDR10 Pro, FILMMAKER MODE
Audio: AI Sound 5.1
Smart TV: webOS with 300+ LG Channels
Gaming Features: Game Optimizer, GeForce NOW
Included: Table top stand, standard remote, batteries, power cable, quick start guide
Sound isn’t a total afterthought either. AI Sound 5.1 isn’t actual surround, but it fakes it well enough that you won’t be scrambling to buy a soundbar five minutes after setup.
If I didn’t already have a 65-inch TV (okay, two), I’d be all over this. For the price, you’re getting a smart TV that doesn’t feel dumbed down.
